Hello Mitch I enjoy your vids and you info about fishing. I realize you do not charter anymore. I would real enjoy a trip with you someday on Tahoe just a friendly fishing trip. I try to get to the lake with the family for a week or so. Maybe some day Mitch.. keep that content coming…
The fish sure seem to be smaller this year. Last year i was constantly pulling 14"ers with the occasional 16". I experienced the same thing 3 years ago with a ton of tiny fish so maybe in 2 years we will be pulling 16+" fish. Still tasty and always a good time! Tight lines!
Hey bro! Found your channel and really enjoy the content. Heading to Tahoe tomorrow from Vega and was looking for any tips for fishing while there. Probably just bank fishing or off a kayak. Gonna be near homewood. Any info would be a huge blessing. Thanks bro!
If your still up there, try to find structure in about 100-150ft of water. You should be able to find some Macks swinging around trying to prey on crawdads
Got or limits last Wednesday but it took a lot longer. Question, are you gutting them on the water and then putting on ice? Last question I read the bag limit is 10 so three guys mean only 10 fish total correct.
I was out there last weekend Kayak fishing with my buddies. I was gonna come say hello. But you were too far away. I like watching all your videos. You have great information on the lakes up there. Keep it up my man.

These are California Halibut. Not Pacific Halibut. Although, pacific Halibut is open. Per CA Fish and Game. "open as of May 1, 2024 and will continue until November 15, 2024 or until the quota is reached, whichever is earlier. The daily bag and possession limit for Pacific halibut is one fish, with no minimum size limit."
First time viewer, fished frenchman's Lake only once, caught fish. To old to float tub any more, once snow gone will get under house to get float tubes, waders and Finns to sell. Also not using my Buck's Bag Alpine Pontoon boat will also sell it. Loved seeing you fight that great looking brown, nice work. I miss fishing White Rock, French, Baltimore, Milton, Gold, Snake Lakes and all the lakes in that area. Your video brought back great memories.
Oh that’s really bad news, but I know you do what’s best for you and your family. I am going to the lake this week and wanted to get on the water Thursday. Oh well I left a message on the phone # that Chris put out no need to respond.
You can access the other side from the west side road that heads around to the other boat launch. But I didn’t go past the gate. So I’m not sure how muddy the dirt road is.
