@@SELFCAREMODEL I’ve recently started using oil (my concoction though) and it’s been great. Lemme know how it works for you. But always Do what works for you though!!
You look amazing! Every outfit is great! I'm so impressed with your weight-loss journey! Your hair is GREAT! You're now my mentor, I'm on a weight-loss journey myself and loosing 2 pds a week! I stopped eating processed foods, fried foods anything NOT fresh! Excersising 2x weekly in water aerobics and 1x weekly in chair aerobics! So I need examples of successful women who've overcome obstacles like yourself! I also need help with my natural hair! I'm tired of wearing the same hairstyles! I want to know what it looks like with a blow out style too and go back to natural because menopaus is killing me with my hair always shrinking throughout the day and sweating/cold chills 4x a day! Wiping my face down all day! 😢
@@LuvBetty64 I’ve never thought about heat flashes and how it could affect hairstyles. I would imagine braids would be be best especially cause you do water aerobics. That sounds like a good workout!!!! And I’m so happy that you’ve made a lifestyle change 👏🏾🙌🏾👏🏾🙌🏾 nothing like eating from the earth 😌 maybe I could create a healthy lifestyle group to help keep each other accountable. And thanks so much for your kind words. It’s always nice when ppl recognize the hard work
it’s a bit off topic, but can anyone tell me how to make my braids not stiff? 😭 i noticed that whenever i braid my natural hair its stiff and kind of “floats” (that’s cool for a fro, but not so much for braids..)? im pretty inexperienced with dealing with my natural hair, and i’d like to wear my hair out in braids w/o having feeling the need to cover them with a hat or headwrap 🥲🥲
@@gloopermooper hey! I think I know what you mean and it could be because of how it’s braided. If you braid over handed, the roots are flat but the braid tends to lift off the hair is shorter. Are you an under or over braider?
@@SharatiaBanks oh wow, i never really realized, but i naturally/automatically underbraid… i think u solved my problem. guess i better train myself to learn the other way. thanks a lot!! <3
@@kamelleziane it gets frizzy, but I don’t mind the frizz. I go back and forth with two steand twists and crochet braids. While i dont wash them as often. I donuse a refresher spray. I'm going to incorporate a cleansing oil next but my hair has grown as well.
I tried this once but it was a disaster. My hair was so matted and whej i tried to detangle it was a nightmare 😂😢. I swore never ever again but seeing this makes me want to try again. Hiw do you safely detangle and how do you wash without it getty frizzy??
@@kovarcoley8418 maintenance and takedown depends on how long they’ve been in and if the braids were washed or not. @@jnsharrisjr thanks!!! Also I’m not sure if I have family in Quincy but I def have family in Miami and Broward. Banks is my marital name. Charles, Fleurant, Jennings are all my family names. (Haitian, Bahamian, TI)
@@SharatiaBanks Oh okay. We just have family all over. Everywhere I move to, I have a family member there. We have family members all over Florida. Some I've never met but there's always one Aunt/Uncle that connects us all lol. My Granddad is the Banks side. Thanks for getting back to me. Enjoy your day.
I am 38 with disk degenerative disease "lower back". Doing research on MSM. I am going to try it in pill form. I am really not good with percription pain meds. They make me feel real nauseated and dizzy. I just want to feel normal again without the weird side effects. 😢
Wear the pink blazer with a white 3/4 length pleated skirt. Those heels will be great to wear with the skirt. Or you can wear skinny jeans or nicely tailored pants with that blazer. That blazer is the star. And remember to accessorize. Necklace, earrings, and a nice bracelet.
