OMG. That’s exactly how my 13 year old daughter massages her scalp! I thought she was crazy and she kept telling me that that was the correct way to do it. And omg. When she took her braids down, I was shocked at that growth. Clearly she knew what she was talking about 😂. P.S. I laughed so much during this video, I won’t bother to detail each thing 😂😂😂. Thanks for sharing.
Omg finally another woman that doesn’t feel the need to shave!❤ my lymph nodes constantly would swell when I shaved, when I stopped no issues and I barely have any hair to shave it barely grows!
“I’m always gonna do too much.” Girl that is me when it comes to product too. My hair is gonna absorb all this goodness whether she likes it or not 😩😩😫😫😒.
I'm growing my hair from my crack to my knees. It's actually past my crack lol. I started off with mini twist but now just braid my hair when I come home and leave it out when I'm working and out. I make sure my ends are moisturized and sealed with grease when I have my hair out.
Your looks beautiful like always. For the past couple of years that I have been watching you I thought you were taller than me. You have great posture! People always think that I am taller than (5'6) my height as well bc of my posture. 😂😂 Please do a full length of hair growth vitamins!!
Funny enough i swear to have binged almost every natural hair RU-vidr but this is the first time I'm seeing ur content fr! Ur hair is beautiful Mini braid gang🦋🦋😌 Just installed mine too😂 took two days, now I'm having a serious back pain😫 Edit: what was that squeak @ 7:25 😂😂
Oh wow Well I’m glad you’re finally here!!! Sorry to hear about your back pain. I hope it goes away soon🙇🏽♀️ how long do you keep them in? The squeak was a cat in place of the word for the Nani 🐱
@@SharatiaBanks 4-6 weeks. But I'm kinda leaving them for 60days currently 🙊 I still think it's a bad idea but I have a really tight schedule till july
Your hair, your skin...you looking so beautiful!! ❤❤❤❤❤I struggle with bents in my plaits and i think my hair isn't long enough yet 🥲 i been doing the 2 weeks thing and i dont wash my hair weekly (bi-weekly) but maybe i should try again.
Hey 👋🏽 Sharatia. Do you use any other hair moisturizers on your hair during the week? If so, which one do you use and how often do you apply it? Secondly, do you also apply oil to the shaft of your hair when you are doing scalp oil massages?
HEY! After I apply my moisturizer on wash day I don't reapply until next wash day. I only add oil to the ends on my hair when I'm about to wash or take down.I showed how I wrap my hair down at night and added oil but that was only to show reference for ppl who are looking to get rid of frizz. hope that makes sense
@@SharatiaBanks HEY AGAIN 👋🏽 Okay, noted. Thanks so much for your response. What are the hair moisturizers that you use on your hair? Do you mind listing them for me from your fav. to least fav.?
Well, when I refer to a deep wash I mean having complete access to every strand versus it being in plaits. For instance, if I wasn’t doing this plaited style and my hair was out like normal, I wouldn’t say that I’m going to do a deep wash. I’ll just say that I’m going to wash my hair. So I’ll “deep wash” whenever my plaits are out.
Things can def be expensive. But you don’t have to get the bigger options. I get the big bottles cause it’s easier for me. Also, we don’t need to use as much as we think. Water and little bit of the product goes a long way
Hi I love you a lot, been a follower.you so real.I tell you your hair tips is good.please what's your hair porosity? And video of how you made the oil too
Do you always let your braids air dry or was that only this time? I’m currently in mini braids (42) and plan on doing this next week (wash with braids in/rebraid) for the first time 😅 I would usually just do mini twists and take it all the way out for a wash once a month but this seems so much quicker for the coming cold season.
@@tifinatty yea I let it air dry but tbh I would advise to dry using a hooded dryer or a revair. Bacteria/fungus can multiply if it’s wet for so long and the hair could potentially be damaged if the water is hard. I haven’t been air drying so a couple months now. I like it
Thanksssss! Our hands have ridges and pores. Gloves help with the application and absorption of products. It’ll all go to the hair instead of soaked up a lil by my hands too. Also, the gloves reduce friction. And if you have long nails, it prevents the products from going under the nails. And an added one, my fingers gets all pruney so it prevents that too lol but whenever I try new products, I don’t use the gloves cause I want to be able to feel how my hair reacts to the products
@@SharatiaBanks thank you for you reply 🫶🏽 and the added gems. I agree, did not think about it much but you’re definitely on to something 🤭 i’m on my own growth journey too and I may have to add that into my routine as I have low porosity hair and need all that product lol
I use conditioner with slip but as you’ve seen in the video I used oil this time around. Either option works well, just depends on your preference I suppose
Some tips when braiding: Don't braid them all the way down. Do twists towards the ends, and it will be easier to start unravelling each braid, thus reducing breakage. Also, don't borrow hair from other sections when braiding. Try to make the 3 sections with an even amount of hair to avoid needing to do this. Then, when you take them out, it will be less tangled since the strands are organised and in the same sections. I hope this helps, and you got the idea of what I described😊
yes, I wash my plaits every week. I've been using either a clarifying shampoo or moisturizing shampoo when I do it. As of late (like a month) I've been using both to double cleanse.
@@SharatiaBanks thank you so much for answering. I wash my hair 1-2 times per week and was thinking to clarify maybe once a week then use a moisturizing shampoo. I do use oils and hair grease too. Thank you so Much for all these information. I will definitely add the scalp massaging religiously now. Be blessed 🤎
To keep it healthy 💁🏾♀️ my hair is super fine so it’s prone to breakage and split ends. The longer the hair the higher the chances of the ends to split. So I still have a few splits (even though I’ll trim as I see them during my redos)
It is said that it was the razor company guilette. Back in the day when men had to go to war in America there wasn't much men left in America to purchase shaving equipment. So as advertising companies do they had to find a way to bump up sales so they started to advertise to women saying that body hair is a masculine thing and it will be better if they were hairless . Of course you know they tell you that something is wrong with you and then they Supply the fix. So now Society has picked all of that up and now it's pushing on women that we need to shave and being unshaved is unhygienic. When all you need to do is to just take a shower each day and eat healthy so that whatever sweat you produce doesn't smell stinky and furthermore what actually smells is the bacteria that eats the sugars and proteins in your sweat their waste is what's actually stinking it's not your actual body odor
ah, yes !! he did one but I decided to go with my design instead. he's diligent person to work with, he wanted to get it right, but I think I just wanted to continue doing my thumbnails myself. this one was a canva preset templates btw @pankajbisht1014
