I love this collab but sadly this piece is very underrated whit some underrated composer too like Thalberg but honestly i just think that classical music is underrated AF but Im still here to enjoy it ❤❤❤
Beautiful rendition, congratulations! They seem easy in the score, but they are actually quite challenging, playing one after the other is even more difficult.
The ending (especially played by csabay) sounds like saying goodbye to something for the last time. I believe this is Liszt’s most beautiful piece. 9:15
Beautifully played! Sibelius has a naunced northern melancholy and it comes over well on piano when it's played sympathetically. Lovely phrase shapes and rubato/dynamics
Yay, finally some love for Valse Oubliee 2 (which I think is better than the first). One thing I’ll say though, I think the melodic section in the middle of Aux Cypres de la Villa d’Este No.2 is definitely one of Liszt’s best melodies, I would just put that into top 3 honestly
Lovely playing of a lovely piece! My favorite part of the piece is 3:40. I really like your phrasing and timing; the music flows really well. I love how you play the trill at 0:50. Might have more to do with the piano or recording than the playing, but the bass overpowers the treble somewhat, especially in the D major section.
@@TheModicaLiszt This is the recording I listen to, by Michael Murray -> ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-0Zg6ZIFjpmQ.html&ab_channel=MichaelMurray-Topic
Really lovely piano and playing! Thank you for sharing! Especially glad to hear Liszt played on a Bechstein, as I'm not aware of any recordings -- Erard, Steinway, Pleyel, Steingrueber and a few others turn up now and then, but not Bechstein... 🙂
