I don't know anyone who read this book and I'm so glad I found this video!!!! I love your reactions and your so invested! I feel like I just gabbed for hours about this amazing book with a friend!🤗 you should do one for the Iron flame. I still need to read that one. You probably read it already so a quick overview would be cool!
Hey there, a few years ago you did a bookshelf tour and talked briefly about the 'gone' series by micheal grant. I picked it up and read all of the 6 books realoy fast! Absolutely loved the series, thqnk you so much for showing it and recommending it!
I'm new on your chanel but I really like your videos and can tell you that yes, you got the pronounciation of the Louvre right :) Just as you got it right for Le cirque des rêves :) I love the way you give your bookshelf tour, it's like, I don't really know, but comforting in a way, just as much as your voice is soothing :)
The third book in the “The Name of the Wind” by Patrick Rothfuss is coming out in December this year in Denmark 🇩🇰 Maybe you already know it, but I just wanted to share it with you. Because I know you love the books 📚
I would not use plastic tabs because they cant be recycled and can even prevent the book from recycling. And I know you want to keep the books for the rest of your life, but you don’t live forever, the books also wont, but the sticky tabs will. ♥️ no hate, just love. good paper tabs do the exact same and there are even transparent paper ones.
I'm currently deep into the process. I have about the same amount unread as you, although a number of them are graphic novels. Decluttering books is a change in mindset to remove the thought of "scarcity" or FOMO. Barring some out-of-print books, which could one day come back into print, you can still read ANYthing you get rid of if you decide you need to. Determine to own only a library of books you treasure. Commit to reading what you own. If that seems unmanageable, unhaul some of the unread books. If that is scary, set a smaller target to start with, such as 50 books. Get rid of duplicates first. Get rid of outdated or unwanted nonfiction or reference books. Get rid of books you don't like or don't want to read now. Consider getting ebooks for some series that you like and will re-read but don't "love". Unhaul books you have read and know you don't want to re-read. Determine if series you currently own but haven't read are still of interest. Again, remember that you can change your mind later if you get rid of some unread books, and that it's OK to keep only the books in a series you like. Consider getting a Little Free Library and keeping it stocked - sharing books is fun and will continue to motivate your unhaul over time. If you still feel the need to buy books, unhaul a book for each new book. Or say you have to earn new books by reading books you already physically own on a two for one basis.
Your book reviews are well thought out and informative. Your videos are inspiring and I like the way you talk about things and create videos. I support and subscribe you not despite your realistic side but because of it. You are great! ✨️ Also, your cats are wonderful. 🐈⬛
I love decluttering videos. I can't tell you how relatable making a TBR and not sticking to it, but feeling the pressure is to me, and I don't even make videos!
brittany i recently found your channel (i know, i live under a rock 🪨) and it’s actually so weird how much we have in common. it kind of actually freaks me out. lol 😂 been watching ur videos and every single one im like “is she inside of my head” // “wait she loves this too!?” lmfaoooo im dead tho bc u saying adam is listening to MCR bc WWWY got canceled 🤣 i went to that festival in 2022 it was soo fun!!! i think i went the 2nd weekend, so my day wasn’t cancelled but i remember when that happened i felt so bad
As a 25 year old guy who hasn't read a book for enjoyment since I was like 13. The last book I read was Eragon. I work at Walmart in OGP (Online Grocery Pick-up) and saw this book being ordered over and over again. I saw the cover and noticed the dragons and it made me feel nostalgic for Eragon so I bought a copy of Fourth Wing after work. I finished the book within the week. Fourth Wing has totally reignited the fire in my heart for reading and I'm so happy. Just purchased Iron Flame and am prepared to binge. Do you have any fantasy book recommendations? *EDIT* Clearly the cat at 30:36 agrees
Good video. Sorry to hear. Love library tours. I am currently building a writing shed that will have a library in it. Videos of my progress are on my channel.
Iron flame. Sucks when you have to force yourself to finish one of your most hyped books. Reading it unfortunately felt like a chore, and put me in a slump. (Thank you powerless for pulling me out of that) also Violet was INSUFFERABLE in this book.
