I looked this up because I read that Alex Lawther, who is an actor I really like, put on a play based on this song when he was a teen :D really cool song!
I love this song! Sarah is a beautiful voice of current women to urge them to go after larger goals than being a typical female protagonist. I think she speaks for women in my generation!

I disagree, I'm a girl and growing up fairytales didn't tell me that I had to wait for a guy to come and sweep me off my feet - they taught me morals and values. There's a lot to be learned from them.
Because I actually know the person who did write it. The problem was that she and the girl who did the chords, they did not copy-write it. They sold it to a producer and then it was passed onto Sara.

If you think about it 99% of the villains in fairytales are women, that alone is a clou to how they where used in earlier times do mark women as the "devils". Starts with the story of Andam and Eve, women have to bear the agony of birth as a way of "penance" for being seduced by the snake to eat the apple. That still plays into socialy standarts now: Women who sleep with a lot of men are sluts but for men who sleep with a bunch of women there isn't even a word.

I however, have only found one song by him that I liked and I used him in my example because he is, or used to be, the most popular of all the, again in my opinion, over popular with no raw talent pop artists...
Why do people have to go on EVERY video on RU-vid to complain about Justin Bieber!? Just because he's popular with some doesn't mean YOU have to like him! So, DON'T listen to his music, DON'T watch him on TV or RU-vid, DON'T buy his CD'S, don't go to his concerts or films, and STFU about him! JESUS CHRIST!
