I happen to be filming this on Saturday. After that I'm hosting a miniature siren meet, and also one of my mini sirens will be testing with the Modulator.
Hello, I have a project coming up and would love to use this video in it and others if you have them of this model sounding, I can leave your watermark on and credit in the comments... I may have bought one of these speakers to play with lol
Had to come back to say thats a late 70s Model 2T. In the late 70s after they changed from FS&S and before around 1979, they put the federal signal corporation sticker on the second skirt.
Looked this location up out of pure curiosity and funny town name, that siren used to have something else in its place. Google street view shows what looks like a Model 2 on a _tripod tower_ which is very weird. The darley is probably also a fire siren sounded for alerting volunteer firefighters to respond. It's by the station, and it's painted red, so that's my guess.
Absolutely awesome video and views, extreamely underrated channel aswell, I've been subscribed for a long time and wanna say I really like these. Also, wanna have a mini meetup at DMACC in Ankeny for the 2T22A
@@supertechnocat8253 The WPS-3000s on N E St, 9th Ave W, and at the library got taken down and were indirectly replaced with 2910s. I have only found 2 locations of the newer 2910s so far, which are located at 1510 Edmundson Dr (replaced the 9th Ave siren) and the intersection of M Ave W and N I St (replaced the N E St siren). I haven't found any replacement of the library siren yet.
