I absolutely do not reference the time frame of my life by the so-called pandemic. Thankfully, it rarely enters my mind until I’m reminded of it by media. Those sound like really nice candles. I’ll have to give one a try sometime. The Fall Farmstand sounds quite nice and if not for the listed scent notes, I’d have steered clear because of the apple label. I’m always on the hunt for a good and prominent pumpkin. Great haul!✌
I look forward to your post-burn reviews on these. My Homeworx burns have been so hit or miss, I highly depend on independent reviewers that aren’t super biased ambassadors for this brand.
Is there a reason why some of these are so cheap? How are the scents? DW candles are so pretty,sigh,if only they had decent throws. Oh Greg, your taste in music………😂❤
Love the packaging of that Harvest Leaves candle 😍. Toasted Vanilla Pumpkin was one of the first Homeworx candles I tried and it had a solid strength & throw, loved it! 🤣 The reading of Hot Cider Donut's scent description!
Harvest Leaves is a MUST for me every Fall. It’s one of the brand’s best fragrances IMO. Hot Cider Donut is also amazing. Hopefully they’ll be nice & strong for you since they’re a little older. Most of my candles from HW have colored wax. 😊

Hi Greg! I ordered two of these a few weeks ago based on the notes. Unlike you, I like marshmallow sugar. I was disappointed when I burned this one as, like you said, It's not what you expect from the word gelato and it's more like a cooked marshmallow. I tried it on the warmer and it was the same. So now I'm stuck with 1 and 3/4 candles that I don't really care for. At least with Bath & Body Works, there is a brick and mortar and you can return the candle. I guess that's a chance you take with Goose Creek. Sigh...
@@MaryS910 Yeah, Goose Creek is always a bit of a gamble. Which is why I only shop them when there’s a pretty good sale.. I hope you didn’t spend too much. Maybe it would make a good gift for somebody? I have this friend who is always thrilled to take candles I don’t like off my hands. He would rarely buy them for himself, so he’s always happy to try something out lol. Thanks Mary!

I was wondering about the strength and throw of Wicked Vanilla Woods, and you addressed it. I enjoy your channel, and your deep, hearty laugh. Go and have a fabulous time in Victoria. We'll still be here when you get back. 😁 If BBW would address their packing issues, customers wouldn't get broken candles. It's not rocket science to properly insulate merchandise, so customers don't receive broken products.
Yes WVW was decent.. however after smelling it on cold my expectations were low lol. It is really nice burning, still not a power house, but it’s there haha.
I haven't burned mine yet, but on cold, it immediately reminded me of the beloved B&BW Gooey Marshmallow candle which smells exactly like how a 🔥roasted marshmallow tastes IMO, but I wouldn't be mad at that at all, because Gooey Marshmallow is one of my all time favorite B&BW candles, and I refuse to burn my last one! After hearing your thoughts, I'm even more hopeful that it's comparable! That being said though - agreed, this is a very misleading name & notes as far as what GC's is SUPPOSED to be! @@AllAbootCandles YES - I believe it only came out once, during Fall of 2018 and sadly hasn't returned since :( I burned my last one (that I'm willing to burn anyway...) just a couple months ago and it was impressively still strong & sooo good! I search on eBay & Mercari frequently, but they're always being resold for far too exorbitant of a price for me!
I appreciate your channel and appreciate your recommendations for the BBW candles. I ordered some candles last night and ordered vanilla woods as well. I ordered Together Weather and looking forward to burning that one. Fall is my favourite time of the year and love my fall candles. Have a great vacation. 🥰
Thanks Debbie I think you’ll really like WVW. Together Weather was kind of the surprise of the season for me, I’m about halfway done one and I really, really like it. Not super strong but totally acceptable. 💜😀🕯️
I’m halfway through mine, the first burns were TERRIBLE. Teeny itty bitty flames lol. After HOURS of burning it started to pick up and is now doing pretty well. It’s reasonably strong too. I suspect it will did out again at some point though. 😐

I picked up two Wicked Vanilla Woods candles yesterday and YES they smell so good! I actually picked up a WVW and Candy Apple Cauldron, but exchanged the latter for another WVW, haha. Midnight Cocktails is an excellent scent! Palo Santo & Sage smells so good on cold, but I was waiting to hear someone's thoughts on it before I picked it up. I'll put it on the list for sure. Have fun on your trip!
From what I remember Palo Santo and sage was pretty strong and burned Great. It’s a bit of an odd one.. wouldn’t say it’s for everyone. Keep me posted on your thoughts! 🕯️😀💜

@AllAbootCandles lol I just got the experience halloween candles because they finally went on sale yesterday! I just couldn't justify paying the big price for the lid haha. I'm happy I went and picked them up today though, and I used my 25% off coupon soooo they were super inexpensive! Honestly.I didn't think they would go on sale 💕🎀✨️

I bought this candle once and had to exchange it because it was so strong on cold, it burned my nose. Clearly I would never win the Tide pod challenge. Definitely not a safe blind buy!
I❤❤❤❤ Laundry Day, Sun Drenched Linen , Fresh Sheets, any of those! But then again...I love the smell of laundry, specifically Bounce dryer sheets! Which had me hesitant to try the BBW laundry care... But for 75off, I bought Fresh Blue Sky and Eucalyptus Mint... haven't tried them yet 😂
