So happy you like my favorite -Witch’ Cauldron. I adore this scent , my favorite from GooseCreek. I bought 3 this year , but would have preferred a more spooky label but the colored wax on these makes up for it🖤🦇🕷
I love how goosecreek does their colored wax! I haven't picked up any of their Halloween yet I usually wait til they're clearanced out but definitely looking forward to getting some eventually!
Really enjoyed your cold sniffs of the GC Halloween candles 🤗. I went with Beetlejuice over the original Halloween line this year. Black Cat is a repackage of Creepy Critters which is my absolute favorite one from the line-up; you were on point with describing the scent!
I think going with Beetlejuice over Halloween was the wise choice.. but I like both collections a lot. My first Fall buying from GC so I’m going a bit wild…. I have so many Fall BBW/Yankee/Village in my stash that I won’t be getting much from those brands this year. I’ve heard a lot about Creepy Critters! I’m glad I’m getting to try it in whatever packaging lol.
@@AllAbootCandles Lol I was the same way when I first start shopping at Goose Creek so I get it 😂! I have a lot of Yankee Fall classic scents so I think I'm going to pass on their newer Fall launches this year.
The ghost one, I saw someone on Facebook say that it smelled liked a old mop bucket with a dirty mop in it. I had already bought it. When I smelled it I could see what she was saying! I’m not sure how that one got approved. 😂 My oldest son is colorblind. When he was little his dad took him school shopping and bought him some cheap ass crayons. He was so upset cause they did not have the names of the colors printed on them. I bought him some name brand ones. You don’t really think about it if you’re not colorblind.
Graveyard Ghosts is soooooo weird. When I was a kid I coloured a sky with a purple crayon. Next thing I knew I was at the doctors taking eye tests lol. Most people I’ve talked to who are colourblind.. crayons always seem to be a source of discovery and frustration during childhood. 💜💜💜
Thanks for the video 🙂I'm a Goose Creek newbie, too. Ordered once a month or 2 ago, am thinking of trying some more. Besides the fact I feel they have way more variety than BBW, I've been disappointed more often than not with BBW. Goose Creek seems to have better candle sales in my opinion. I also feel Goose Creek last longer, my current BBW ones seem to burn a lot faster than in the past, even though I'm often burning them less hours. 😆I wanna get Black Cat whether I like it or not cuz cats. (I love cats, but no pets allowed where I live ☹) I like your personality 🙂
I totally agree - Goose Creek 3-wicks burn longer than BBWs. However, often those last burns on Goose Creek are dirrrrrrty. Worse than BBW last burns. Which ones did you get from GC? Favourites?
@@AllAbootCandles Funny you replied when you did, a Goose Creek finished up earlier, one wick went before the other 2. I had a different one get so dirty, and didn't even smell decent anymore, so I purged it with maybe a quarter left. I started with 3: Welcome & Home (cat, but also thought I might like the scent), Blueberry Cheesecake, and Marshmallow. My favorite is Marshmallows, because I just wanted plain marshmallows, I love how they smell 😆Welcome & Home was a weird smell to me, not sure how I'd describe it, yet at times it was okay. It was pretty when the cat was aglow. Blueberry Cheesecake, at times I found the cheesecake note to be kinda icky at times, and I think the blueberry could've been less artificial smelling. The ones I want to try next are Marshmallow Sugar, Black Cat, and Pumpkin Pie.
@@Taurus_Butterfly Marshmallows is also my favourite so far out of those three. Blueberry Cheesecake - I cannot figure out if I like it or not. Haven’t smelled Welcome & Home.
@@AllAbootCandles Welcome & Home, they only way I can describe it is a weird perfumey gourmand scent, but not really in a good way 😆I know that's not helpful, but there really isn't a specific note I can sense. The packaging was a little cheesy to me at first but then it took me back to 90s Halloween. Specifically disney channel Halloween! It is super nostalgic to me so i love these! Black candy apple smells super similar to summer boardwalk to me. It smells very strong! I too was a lil bummed about graveyard ghosts. I dont dislike it but its a little on the cologney side rather than the spooky side. It was great on my warmer though Wish you could have tried creepy critters! That is similar to marshmallow fireside but so so so much better. Black cat leans sweeter than MF but creepy critters is MFs gothic dark sister. Its as if you were burning MF inside of a spooky old attic. And its also a way better thrower than MF. Praying it comes back next year 🙏🏻 think youd love it!

Hi Greg, How long do you burn your GC and BBW candles, so they don't soot? I'm curious why you don't like Kringle Candles anymore? Do you not like their soy wax?
GC - 2 hours max. BBW - 2-3 hours max. Kringle, yeah the soy wax and low strength and throw was kind of the final straw. Also, I live in Canada and they charge really insane shipping costs, so it works out to about $80 (literally, not exaggerating) for a reserve candle. I would do it once in a while if I could be promised good strength and throw, but I’ve been burned too many times. So ultimately they just aren’t worth the money to me. 🤷
