have two ones along with Sonos Arc and Sonos mini sub. For me, this configuration is great, as the sound quality is very good. I think it only makes sense to replace my Sonos One's if I'm going to purchase the Era 300, because between the era100 and One, the sound quality is very identical, perhaps it's only possible to see the difference if you put the two working side by side, but in real world it's not worth the upgrade, unless you don't have the Sonos one, in which case I'd buy the Sonos era 100.
Thanks for the great review Chuen! I've been debating between switching over from my Eve Spectrum 4K 144hz for the brightness, contrast, and resolution, but I think I'll stay put til Apple releases Pro Motion on their device. Side question... could you share where you got your shelf stand from at 2:05? It's perfect for me to display my model cars. Cheers.
Hey! I was pretty close to pulling the trigger on the Eve Spectrum 4K monitor too. I think its a pretty decent monitor. Do you mean the oak wood shelf stand? If so, I got them from www.futoncompany.co.uk/ Its a leaning ladder shelf.
Maybe do another review after 2 years. My Mac Studio display died after 18 months. First signs of trouble was its inability to turn on if the Mac Studio was restarted. I was able to to get it to turn on again but this was only after having it powered down the Studio screen for at least 8 hours. Pulled this trick off 3 times but once I upgraded the OS to Sonoma it bricked out totally. Nothing will trigger it to turn on. I now own a $2500 beautiful brick. I'm in negotiations with Apple related to the next step. I have no issues with reflections and I didn't get the nano option because to me that seemed to slightly blur fine details, but it seems thats a huge argument point. My big advice is keep the box it came in for when you return it to be repaired.
i have the simple iphone 15, bought November 10th last year so exactly 6 months and 10 days now. Battery is at 99%, i charged it anywhere from 20, 25 to 85, sometimes very rarely 90. So not hitting the exact sweetspot, probably thats why lost of 1%..but still i would say pretty decent, i;m curious if 1000 cycles will last as Apple says..
I like how realistic and honest you are. Just a display of normal useful edc items. And yes, Apple producs are expensive. I use them as well, but this doesn’t change the fact that they cost a lot of money. Also you’re not flashing other ultra expensive items like a rolex watch or a titanium/golden whatever and acting like it’s not a big deal and this is part of your normal life. Being down to earth and normal is rare to see these days especially in your line of work. Thanks for the great video I enjoyed it very much! All the best!
Wow, I had no idea they did that. Last time my pods went out I just bought a new pair , id rather not have though. Thanks! Btw, Metal Gear solid is such a fun game on the GBC emulator. Look forward to more content from your channel. Great work
Why you disconnect the thunderbolt cable from Apple Studio in the case of mac mini o mac studio? You can shut down the mac mini or mac studio and is enough
Thanks for the video I have just ordered my upgrade which I thought was the 15 pro but after seeing my order confirmation it looks like just the 15 (silly me) 😂 I think I will be more than happy with the 15 with what it does.
Unless you are a hard-core fitness enthusiast there is no point in using a Smartwatch..moreover the squared style of Apple Watch looks gross for a watch
Iphone images are highly processed and they scream processed. And low light performance is really bad with iphone. Physics cannot be defied. But I am glad we have good cameras on phones so we can now take much better pictures when not carries real camera. I would rather buy a cheaper iphone than pro and spend the rest of money on a good camera.
I’ve had the iPhone 15 pro for almost 5 days and I’ve been getting almost 8 hours of On Screen Time with hardly any idle screen time + another 8 hours on standby when sleeping and i love it. Went from trading in my 12 pro max for this was 💯 worth it
Many years ago I’ve read an article that you should charge the battery to 92% max. It’s basically the same with just a bit more of battery. I’ve been doing this ever since and I kinda can say when the phone has approximately 90-92% and that’s when I disconnect it from the charger. So this might be also an option for some people who find 80% not enough, me included. I’ve had iPhone 15 since one month ago and I have to say that the battery discharges much faster than IP13. I’ve been a struggling with this at the beginning but now I just accept d it. I always charge in my car as I’m going far for work.
Wow, what is your usage of the phone? Do you charge often and with 80% limit or 100%? Do you charge at car? Mine dropped to 99% after 185 cycles. iPhone 15 pro.
@@NUMAOFDUO I am not sure if it’s good or not. But it seems like most people drop down from 100 to 99 after 160 - 200 cycles of changes. Think it’s pretty normal i guess. What you should think about is that the Iphone 16 is just 4 months away though. But i can recommend the 15 Pro Max, it’s a great phone!
@@Mr.Tyrell99 Well i have a s20. And the design is kinda boring, the battery is bad (playing 30 mins -40%) and crashes in simple apps, like instagram, tiktok etc. I want to buy ip15 pro max, and i dont really understand cycles or battery health.
@@NUMAOFDUO You could just see it as a way to check how healthy the battery is. So i think as long as the phone is over 90% battery health it has good battery life. The cycles is how many times you have charged the phone up. And if you are upgrading from the S20 it will be a very solid upgrade in terms of battery, camera and design if you ask me. I love the design of the S24 series from Samsung, but the 15 Pro Max is quite nice! I have the titanium blue and i really love it!
I find that prolonging the health above 80% max capacity by only using 80% of the battery defeats the purpose. Youre trying to delay battery degradation by using your phone as if it has already degraded to 70% health from day 1. Also a lot of it is battery lottery. Batteries are not made equal. I charge to 100 every night and i still have the 100% health. Others might not be so lucky.
As you have said that you still have a 100% health in battery life, may I know for how long have you been using the device and is it like you charge it to 100% every single time? Do you make sure you drain the battery below 20% before changing or how do you maintain the cycle. Your information can help others too! Thanks in advance.
@@k91vignesh Use optimized battery charging if you are gonna charge to 100%. It slows down the charging after it reaches 80% to prevent heat and damage to the battery. Personally if I'm gonna be staying home I charge with 80% limit, If I'm going out and using navigation (such as google maps) and streaming a lot of music, taking photos, etc. I will charge to 100%. In both cases I end the day with ~20-25% battery.
Hello I have a Pti problem with my 15 pro when I start the screen recording with audio activated the image scrolls before the audio starts I changed iPhone more than 5 times always between the 15 pro series but always the same thing I wanted to know if the problem concerns everyone or it's me alone thank you for answering me I really need to know
I've had and used iPhone 13 since its release, 93% battery health left with about 2 and half years of use. I sometimes let it go really low % and charge it full, but mostly I charge from like 30 to 40% to 90%-100%... I think its just bad if you repeatedly charge from 0 to 100%. Also if you use the phone a lot in demanding tasks that make it hot frequently, that probably also makes the battery degrade quicker from all the heat overtime. I'm a light user generally, so heat isn't really an issue for me.
Had my 15 Pro Max since release week. First thing I enabled was 80% charge limit. Totally fine for me. I just checked and I am on only 96 charge cycles! The battery on this phone lasts me two days even when I limit charging to 80%. Like you I also turned Always-on Display off as I am not a fan of it on a phone (had it on old Android phones and turned it off there also). I don't know if it helps much with battery life (I also have a Watch Ultra 2 and I leave AOD enabled on that without any noticeable battery impact) but I just don't like seeing my phone screen on all the time as it distracts me. What transparent case are you using? I was given a Nomad leather case for Christmas which is lovely but also a bit sad it hides the beautiful colour of the phone so have been thinking of picking up a nice non-grippy transparent case (by non-grippy I mean something that will slide in and out of my pocket easily not have some friction like the Apple silicone cases had which I hated).
96 Cycles, wow, thats impressive! Same feeling about AOD. The case I have is the TORRAS MagSafe iPhone 15 Pro Case. Non grippy and smooth, so you may like it. Some links: 🇺🇸 US amzn.to/3QmFQQX 🇬🇧 UK amzn.to/4baTxKC
@@Ok-vw9zz 5-6h weekdays, around 3 on weekends going by the screen time and battery numbers which sounds about right. I usually find if I charge my phone Friday evening (around 10pm say) it will last me until Monday morning when it hits 20% and I put it on charge while I have a shower. Currently on 100% health and 110 charge cycles fwiw.
Probably a stupid question because the answer is so obvious. But im not stacked with cash. So should i upgrade from the iphone X (10) to Iphone 15? I work a lot around instagram, so again the answer should be obvious. But just wanted to hear what you got to say.
Yes, the iPhone 15 would be huge upgrade in terms of camera capabilities. IMHO: But if you are on a budget, perhaps consider a refurbished iPhone 14 Pro - would be just as good.
Thank you so much for your review. I couldn't decide between the 15 and the pro and your review helped me decide to go with the 15 instead of the full out upgrade to the pro as im unlikely to use the video features of the pro. I'm upgrading from the X so either will be a massive improvement.
