Unfortunately, nurses seem to be the only care workers who are recognized. There are many other health care workers that support patient care. The nurses have powerful unions. it seems unfair that other professionals in lab, diagnostic imaging, physio and OT, many office workers, medical records, maintenance, biomedical engineering transport and unit clerks who work just as hard are not recognized.
The worst place to go for decent treatment. The triage nurses are incredibly rude. There is this one triage nurse who slapped another nurse on the ass. And laughed about it. They treat the homeless like trash. And use the security as thugs on a whim for frivolous uses. If they can't bully you they send the security after you. Even when you said you are leaving.
