Shalom Brothers I'm sitting in North Carolina in the USA tomorrow is Father's day and I'm having Israeli salad for Father's Day hummus and pita bread Shalom Shabbat...
Good for you brother. Been clean, and sober myself for a few years now. I do have a couple drinks every so often, but last time was a few months ago, about 3 beers. Been clean off drugs now for like going on three years or better. Still need to quit vaping, and even that is hard especially when you live with three Chainsmokers. Been wanting to start an exercise regimen, and i know it will be hard as i suffer from chronic pain in my whole spine . You look great, keep up the good work 😊
All overweight people are insulin resistant, by definition. So yes carbs are the enemy of people with insulin resistance. And that covers 100% of overweight people.
Hi, not all overweight individuals are insulin resistant. By definition, insulin resistance is when our cells (muscles, fat, and liver) don’t respond well to insulin and can’t easily take up glucose from your blood. As a result, your pancreas makes more insulin to help glucose enter your cells. As long as your pancreas can make enough insulin to overcome your cells’ weak response to insulin, your blood glucose levels will stay in the healthy range. This condition is more prevalent in those with a higher amount of excess body fat however, being overweight does not automatically mean you're insulin resistant. Like most things in nutrition, there is not a "one size fits all" answer to insulin resistance. However the research has shown that very low carbohydrate, and restrictive diets do not work. As this article, titled "Low-carbohydrate diets and cardiometabolic health: the importance of carbohydrate quality over quantity" put it, "there has been a failure to achieve the expected fat loss under low-carbohydrate feeding. Systematic reviews with pairwise and network meta-analyses of the best available evidence have failed to show the superiority of low-carbohydrate diets on long-term clinical weight loss outcomes or that all sources of carbohydrate behave equally." pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/32728757/
If you salt your salad once you take a serving rather than when you put it in the fridge it will also help it stay crisper. The salt makes the veggies "sweat" out liquid. Great ideas!

I think this is why it is important to make sure you jive with your coach. I ask a lot of questions. I hop on a pre-zoom. I also speak up when language doesn't work for me.
YES!!! As coaches, we don't know what we don't know. Ask all the questions, talk, speak up, and let us know when something does not feel right. A client's feedback is so valuable.
If you are a sensitive sleeper, you tend to have sleep deprivation during the tours. And that's when your body tells you to eat more, especially sweet stuff. And if you start to use drugs just to help brighten your day, you will get addicted. So happy with you and your ❤ ones, that now you are back! 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
LOVED this episode. So much info I needed to hear. I tend to be a perfectionist so hearing that ‘good enough’ on some days is actually good for you was nice to hear.
I especially enjoyed this episode. As a client I sometimes think our coaches do everything perfectly. To find out they have challenges just like the rest of us is refreshing. Also very informative to hear how they work around those challenges. I am learning so much from this podcast. Keep up the good work!!
I respect 3 doors down’s consistency and success. One of the better bands from the Y2K era still going strong. That aside, I can relate. I’m on a goal to quit drinking alcohol for good. For better mental and physical health.
That's a fantastic goal! Quitting alcohol can have a profoundly positive impact on your mental and physical health. It's a journey, and there will be challenges along the way, but your determination will lead you to a healthier and happier life. If you ever need support or advice, we are here to help!
These tutorials @workingagainstgravity are horribly presented. First, the narrator runs thru the process wayyy to quickly, demanding constant pause/start to keep up. Second, there is no cursor or highlighter to indicate where the heck he is on the screen. My rating is a negative 2! Hey Macrosfirst, you can do better than this.
Thanks for your feedback, Tom. MacrosFirst doesn't have anything to do with our production. I created these tutorials to be quick and easy to digest without overcomplicating the procedure. The beauty of them being in video format is you can pause them to follow along. While there are not onscreen annotations showing where I am clicking, I do explicitly state where and what to click on throughout. We'll take your advice into consideration in future videos though!
I've tried this magical change rich people are always talking about like 6 times actually and now im in tremendous debt and hate myself for making all the wrong choices
