Great information, Attorney Price Mc Namara, I am going through this right now with the Hartford. I was denied in March with the denial information used for the decision being inaccurate and them not having all medical records to make the decision, I have appealed it and now they have correct disability date and the missing medical records but has extended the decision date for Brown & Brown medical examiner to review records informing they will try to make a decision by June 2024.
The crazy thing is that employers offer long-term, but for example, if you are receiving short-term for 120 days, on day 120, they will terminate you. Perhaps they should flat out not offer long term and offer a benefit that has to be paid for by the employee.

im in this situation right now lost my dad in August 2021 his life insurence company is being difficult he had a ADD policy and yes that is how he passed i have an attorney working on it she is going to file a appeal but i looked up the stats i feel like its a lose lose situation... really stressful and sad for my family.
