Hi Folks, My main purpose of this channel is to try and create a course, or service that I wish I had access to when I first started painting. Just someone there to show me how to paint something from start to finish and explaining the process as they go along. If you like painting and want to learn how to do it for free then this is the channel for you!
We're building a great community of like-minded artists and would love you to be a part of the journey.
We'll be focusing on oil painting, but occasionally we'll dabble in other topics like reviews and how to best utilise your space for your own personal setup. So, stick around if you'd like to brush up on your skills, or even if you just want to hang out with me when we begin to livestream.
Hi, I'll try again😊 I wanted to thank you for these wonderful videos. You fill many needs besides art. I don't feel isolated when I'm working with you on a new video and I feel challenged which is important to me now that I'm retired from a challenging career that spayed 53 years. I've done many of your beautiful landscapes and they're beautiful. The problem is I've run out of wall space and they're too beautiful to stick in a closet. I found a non-profit art gallery in town that displays the works of local artists. I wondered if you're OK if we sell our tutitorials. I know some artists are OK and some aren't. I need the money to buy more supplies. I also wondered how you get your vision. I have learned so much from your fabulous instructions I feel I could execute an original painting but everything on line is so proprietary when I look for inspiration. I'm landlocked with little natural beauty around me, which is why I want to paint it. Thank you for your generous and unique contribution
Hello, I'm glad you enjoy and get fulfillment from the videos. I'm not quite sure what you're asking exactly, but if I understand, you're asking to sell my tutorials? If so, then no. Please do not sell my work. If I have misunderstood, please feel free to reply.
I subscribed, YOU are going to be HUGE one day. I love all your work. PLEASE don’t forget us little people when it happens lol, thank you so much for sharing ❤
Hi, thank you so much for your work! I’ve just stumbled upon your video and I’m just 6 minutes in, but I feel so much happiness and pleasure watching how free you’re approaching a painting process. Everyone else I’ve seen seems to be confined by academical mindset, but you’re merging together with your brushstrokes, that’s so liberating…! Also I’m curious: which surface are you using? Seems to be paper or maybe it’s a piece of fabric… Lots of gratitude and appreciation🌱
Thanks Allan. Short, sweet, and with a fine result. Singing while painting is just a habit, and not at all a bad one. "Music of the Waters" almost burbled out a couple times but you caught it just in time. Oh, cotton buds, ear buds, and in the states Q-tips. When used for painting, thing-a-ma-jigs works just fine. Enjoy your new riggers when you get them, man.
I really enjoyed the long format video. I can't say that the long format should replace your previous instruction, but the long video does make relaxing a lot easier w/o having to worry about clicking on the next video. I do wish your website offered the ability to purchase some of your paintings, though.
Enjoy your video from Ireland. LOL keep them coming. Have to ask you. Have you ever seen the movie The Quiet Man starring John Wayne and Miss I apologize for a moment I forgot her name.
