A channel mainly focusing on my journey through Sorcery TCG, Warlord TCG and Alpha Clash TCG. Expect box openings, deck techs and game discussion. Ill also cover "dead" card games and other non collectible card games here and there. Thank you all for checking out my channel and hope you enjoy the content I create.
Warlord looks cool. Getting my friends to play anything other than Magic is a near impossible task though. I'm still trying to convert them to Sorcery. I begining to think I need some new friends. 😂
I know that feeling dude lol im very fortunate to have a good friend and a girlfriend whos down to play any game i try out. Honestly all mtg players should love Sorcery too, just for the nostalgia if anything haha
@@Korlash1990 right?! I thought converting mtg friends would be easy. I'm not even asking them to stop playing MTG. Just switch it up once in a while. Nope...they are like WOTC zombies..."must buy magic cards." I don't get it.
@mattstrott753 i used to be like that for so long and it resulted in me missing out on so many great games. Glad i got my eyes uncovered after mtg started doing tons of things i highly disagree with that i wont go into detail about. I say keep trying though! Youll convince them one day lol
Really enjoy your deck techs. I'm a new player and a casual player. So great to see deck techs that are focused on fun to play rather than the competitive meta. Thanks. (For the gnomes: ignore the "g" s. I think it's pronounced "niece-nash" gnomes.)
I really appreciate the kind comment and im so glad my videos are helpful for fellow players out there! Thanks for the help on the pronunciation on that name too haha!
I LOVE doomsday device!!! I might have to try this deck out, it looks sweet AF. Also, do you think you will show on the channel your process of doing Altars?
Its such a cool card haha a buddy of mine recently made a cool deck based on it so he inspired me to make a deck for it. Thats also a cool idea! Ill keep that in mind. Doing like a live stream of me altering would be neat.
love the recursion this deck has, and having every threshold available you can use all genesis cards in every graveyard. I once used a courtesan thais against a deathspeaker with 13 cards in hand that summoned a Nimbus Jinn and just passed, i proceeded to dump his entire hand into him with his own Nimbus Jinn, good times, one of my favourite cards, and probably the only card that allows the doomsday device to go off for full 20.
Awesome list! I have something very similar built, but more tuned for my local meta. Always love your deck techs, and you even got me into checking out some older TCGs too! Looking forward to your next video!
Two awesome pulls, I'm building a Nuu deck, I'm so jealous of the headpiece. Really enjoying fab lately, having a blast with Levia and this set has an amazing card for her.
Im really excited to get back into FaB with this set. I already want more boxes haha. I remember Levia too! She was new right when i left the game. Really liked her aesthetics back then.
@Korlash1990 I opened one box got a marvel transcend card. The marvels in this set are so beautiful. I'm not one that enjoys opening boxes, but his set got me wanting to open more.
10:13 missed a Majestic dude. Second to last card of pack can have an "expansion slot" card - some Majestics for other classes outside of the three featured in the set.
I subscribed to your channel for the Sorcery content (Im new to that game and appreciate your work there.). I like other card games too. Mainly Im an Oldschool MTG player. I noticed your Keyforge playmat. I really like that game but I couldn't convince my friends to play it. I think because its such a departure from Magic and you cant deck build (unless you play Alliances). I'd love your thoughts on Keyforge. I think the strikes against Keyforge is no deck building, no multiplayer and it seems incredibly hard to make RU-vid content for. A shame. I like the game.
Thank you for checking out my channel and glad my content is useful for you! Dude keyforge is such a great game. My girlfriend and i play it all the time. I do love deck building but for some reason with keyforge i actually like that every deck is basically i random pile of cards. Make it interesting finding the hidden combos and strategies in each deck. Also Dis has some sick art which is a huge bonus for me.
@@Korlash1990 agreed! Dis is my favorite house and I like that each deck is completely unique. Playing it feels a lot like MTG before the days of the internet. "That card does what?" 😆 Wish my wife would play it! I can occasional get my daughter to play but still search for a regular keyforge opponent
@@mattstrott753 it really does have some old school magic vibes haha reminds me of when i was in middle school amd mirrodin just came out. Whole new way to play but we had no clue what the whole card pool was and just figired things out over months of playing haha. Back when fatpacks had the set guides and a book and that was basically the only way to know the set.
Tank deck was meta. It was very hard to defeat. I used Aurra sing as my dark side deck. On the light side, I used Qui-Gon Padme deck. I finished 10th place in worlds 2000.
There is an actual "game" component to Pokemon? I thought the point was putting cards in binders and making your friends insanely jealous because you had the holo Charizard.
Thank you for this video. I enjoyed watching you spill out your passion for these games. From the 3 game, I played both Trek, which later turned into Star Wars for me. My early Trek deck was a Borg Troll deck. I'm sure they changed the combat rules. But I use to play one borg to any away team to just shut down the game until I had my game set up. It was a loop hole I use to win a big event which had a bridge crew I needed. (Not my best moment as a gamer but for me a great memory.) Rage was a game I started playing when in came out in a little store called Neutral Ground in New York City back in 1995. It was a game I picked up to play between Magic games and I was also playing Vampire at the time but I loved the game even more that Magic and for a time it was my number one game. My RAGE deck was Team #21 which so happens your deck has Hunts-at-Night which can really screw my deck up early game. I basically needed to run from Hunts for at least 3-4 turns in order to deal with him one on one. I've suffered many an early sneak attack from Hunts only to see my team scattered to the wind. For Deck games, the ones I get to play the most are Rage, Netrunner, and Shadowrun. Games I'd like to get back into are Decipher's Star Wars. Which even with Disney killing my passion for the Ip and the Virt-Cards Drowning in Disney Plus junk cards. I would love to get back into a limited form of Star Wars. Speaking of Wars... I loved Deciphers CCG WARS. That game really needs a come back. Have you ever tried WARS: Incursion? It only got two sets with a 3rd unreleased test set that is easy enough to add to your game to get a much better idea where the game could have gone. I feel WARS was Star Wars 2.0. I also feel the story is better than the Expanse on Amazon and it pre-dates the books by 11 years. Thanks again, this was fun.
That was awesome getting to read all that dude. Thank you for sharing that! I also play the star wars ccg and its an excellent game. I cover the Wars ccg too, quay is my favorite faction. Love the bad guy alien race lol.
I loved the Star Trek CCG. Had a nasty Ferengi deck that could absolutely flood the field with personnel first turn due to their download skills and objectives. They had garbage stats and pretty weak skills (except for a few like Quark, Rom, and the Grand Nagus), but that didn't matter when you started with, like, twenty personnel, powerful equipment, and ship on the field.
Thats awesome to hear! I wouldnt say its highly competitive but it does have a lot of good synergies to it and tons of consistency with all the card draw it has. If you wanted to take it to the high end level id add the philosopher's stone, cores and maybe some mixes to speed the deck up.
@kk_itsover you can cut the sphinx for both cores and maybe trim down some copies of the ordinary cards for a philosopher's stone and a few mixes id say.
Nice deck ,I love mono water. I played almost the same type of deck but replacing anui with sharks since they will not kill auras or ur turtles when they come into play.
I looked up cards on category 1 games and filtered for rares in the search then compared what i have. Other than that i have no clue how to tell rarity. Classic 90's ccg thing for sure haha
I would love to see some high-level play between two of these decks, and an overview from someone that has actually been playing this for years! This game deserves to be re-designed, so I wonder what your thoughts on systems and mechanics are, and if you think how it could be improved. Cheers!
Thats the plan once im moved and settled and have an actual computer/camera. I will say overall the mechanics are fantastic and brutal with dice rolls being a major factor in the game. Perfect for a rough post apocalyptic game. There could be some fixes for sure too. I hardly ever find myself group attacking/blocking. Lone attacking/blocking is just so much easier to do.
@@Korlash1990 Ah! The "support attacker" rules make it seem like they'd be worth it. Is it because it is easier resource-wise (to actually start an attack)?
@DanielRedMoon in the games ive played it never really amounted to anything since youre basically only able to group attack with small characters and they cant hit the broadside of a barn. Lone attacking and mainly using big beefy characters was far more successful for me at least. My dice rolling in this game is also terrible lol
I just bought into this game recently myself, grew up seeing ads for it in inquest. Have you joined the facebook group for this game? We could schedule some webcam games there
I havent joined that group actually. Mainly because im not super active there anymore. This game is great though, even the solo mode is fun. Once im all moved and settled webcam gaming might become a thing on the channel.
