A bit of a different video today and in fact my first discussion video. Going over my most played cards for this game so far and why i think you all should be playing them too. #sorcerycontestedrealm
I think Kobolds are just a better version of Vile Imp tbh. It only costs 1 more and has renewable damage so it can keep striking things if your opponent doesn't remove it. You also don't risk going against a deathspeaker deck and having vile imps played on you. A lot of people think that because it can be forced to strike itself, its a bad card, but in ~75 games playing it, I have only had it strike itself once
Just an FYI if the body of water is a single body and the pudge butcher drags the avatar through it, it will only trigger the giant shark once. Also the giant shark is waterbound so if at any point the pathing has the avatar come on to land the shark cant follow it and strike it a 2nd time.
Im fairly certain im using butcher and shark correctly since the shark says enters OR moves between sites in this body if water. So every time the avatar moves between sits in that body of water the shark will trigger and attack. As for the waterbound yes youre right about that. It wont enter land and if for any reason it does it becomes immobile. Thats just when you use chaos twister or whirling blades to get it back to water haha
Shark fights at each site, but it is less broken than you might think. The shark fights, meaning it takes damage. If it said “strike” then the shark would destroy pretty much anything dragged through its body of water and survive - busted!
This is totally true so its key to choose the right victim hahaha avatars are best since generally just 1 power besides battlemage and maybe alpha earth lol
All great cards here. Really anything that helps movement/positioning or card draw/ramp or gives double value with genesis/deathrite are almost always a step above the rest. My honorable mention goes to Highland Princess, 2 drop for a second chance of having a core/stone/mix draw in the early game? Combine that with an added Browse (if your deck is heavy air commitment) puts the Lady Luck factor on your side in most games. Princess and Crossroads are extremely underrated on the singles market imo. Love Magellan Globe in my battlemage deck. That plus ruler of thul plus polar explorers plus movement spells means im pulling something that will get my aggressive avatar stapled on top of my opponents.
I tend to focus away from the cores and philo stone for money reasons but i 100% agree with you there. She is a very solid card to up the odds while being a body to block and such. I still need to pick her up since i never opened one. Glad you liked my list too!
Check the Infiltrate FAQ for the most up to date errata, you lose control of the minion when it loses stealth and not when it deals damage specifically now
Yes, you can play only two copies in the deck. I get your point, why you think he has four in his deck. He said he updated the deck "for" the card ;) When he realised how megallan globe work he updated the deck "for" this card.
