💛 I am Kate - Ukrainian girl, and you are on my cozy channel about life in Poland. Here I will show the atmosphere of beautiful and interesting places in Poland and share my experience of living in different parts of this country
My boyfriend Andrew and I work remotely, and we don't like to sit in one place, so every month or two we move to a new city. Subscribe to travel with us!
Kraków is a very diverse city. There is plenty to do here for tourists and locals alike. Thank you for showing us the unique places in this beautiful city! It is one of the most beautiful cities I have ever visited.
I was in Gdansk last week and October last year transiting to Kaliningrad. Its a beautiful place sadly I only had less than one each time to experience the city would like to spend a weekend there and also visit the surround areas such as Malbork Castle is high on my hit list of destinations.
What an excellent video of the wonders of Poznan, it is a city that hypnotizes and I love it, thank you very much for sharing and take care of yourself
About public transport prices, ticket prices that you are talking about are tickets mostly for tourists. In Poznan we have special card named PEKA. Its working the same way like OYSTER in London (you pay for the bus/trams stops you traveled). So in general, when you have this card it is very cheap to move around the city by public transport :)
@@lifeandtravelinPoland Torun,Bydgoszcz,Lodz.

The earliest surviving references to the city are found in the chronicles of Thietmar of Merseburg written between 1012 and 1018: episcopus Posnaniensis ("bishop of Poznań", in an entry for 970) and ab urbe Posnani ("from the city of Poznań", for 1005). The city's name appears in documents in the Latin nominative case as Posnania in 1236 and Poznania in 1247. The phrase in Poznan appears in 1146 and 1244. In about 1249, Duke Przemysł I began constructing what would become the Royal Castle on a hill on the left bank of the Warta. Then in 1253, Przemysł issued a charter to Thomas of Gubin for the founding of a town under Magdeburg law, between the castle and the river.
I recommend you to visit another parts of Poznań like Jeżyce (very good restaurants and beautiful architecture) Łazarz (especialy Wilson park and the huge palm house) and Wilda. Also it is good to visit Imperial District with all its beautiful architecture and lovely Adam Mickiewicz park.
