Synchronicity .... the phenomenon as well as the album! Today I was re-listening to the Police album for the first time in years, then later I decided I want to make a cutaway, I watch this, and you're singing along to that album. ... Synchronicity!

I am looking for an HII right now. Thank you for all the tips with restoring it! I am not as big fan of the white control plate so I would have left it black or gotten a new scratch plate that accommodated the switches. I have also seen some that use white switches and they would look better against the black background.
Tim Woodford up here in Canada calls them bar frets, and they can be used to straighten out the neck... only a few luthiers are still expert in dealing with them.
Is your magnetic pickup balanced for Argentine strings for Gypsy jazz guitars? I’m looking for a solution to avoid ‘hot’ B string - as my Gypsy Jazz pick-up for my Grand bouche isn’t balanced.
Geez! A professional classical guitarist can play to the last fret with advanced techniques without the cutaway. Just buy a cutaway! By the way, do that to your Martin!
There were no 'plastics' 80 years ago as we know them today. I have a similar guitar, very recognisable by their size and decorated colourful pick guards, headstock and arched back. The coloured inlays are made from celluloid. In those days these Sicilian guitars used tuners with a more narrow spacing (33 mm) compared to standard (35 mm). Haven't been able to find new ones so I'm still using the originals. Sicilian Luthier workshops also sold guitars without labels which were rebranded by sellers/luthiers to their specific clientele.
Hello ! I find the concept interresting for my usage (chromatic didgeridoo that i play standing). What about the rejection of the low frequency stage noise ? (i have encountered problems with subs on big stages with contact mics in the past, so i'm a little bit concerned by this potential issue).
