I see you paddle on your knees, I can’t any more. My legs hurt or go numb and I broke my tailbone when I was 16. My Kipawa rear seat needs to be replaced. Should I stay with the original style or the new molded tractor seat style. I do use a foam pad but my web seat is so dished I cut off my circulation . Any suggestions are appreciated.
Hiked there a few years ago and was wondering about the legality of fishing there if anyone knows. I know lots of lakes in Killarney prohibit fishing but was just curious if anyone knows. I know lots of the lakes have been damaged by acidification because of pollution from Sudbury but there have to be lake trout at the bottom of topaz.
You need to weigh your trays to know if it’s fully dry and just because the freeze dryer finish the process doesn’t meant your stuff is fully dry. I do everything over 35-40 hours.
There's no better way to start a summer adventure like getting on Red Squirrel Road. It's unlike anywhere else. My gf & I (from Temiskaming Shores) go to Temagami at least 5 times per year. Such a sacred & beautiful slice of heaven 😊
Thanks for reminding me of the wonderful memories, I had the good fortune of spending every summer on the lake as a child. It looks the same, you sure had good weather.
If you’re taking your time and not rushing I’d give yourself a full day. I’d say 3-4 hours there and 3-4 hours back. I’d leave first thing in the morning too. Also worth mentioning that once you get to topaz don’t keep following the red campsite sign to the left of the lake - campers need their privacy. Once you get to the top of the lake and look down, go right, there’s some nice rocks for sitting and a rock for jumping :)
Lol thanks for watching and for commenting! It is a how to, we show you from start to finish how to do something. If you have a machine you can do the same 😅
I have such mixed feelings about videos like this. On one hand, beautiful depiction of a place I yearn for, the setting of almost all of my fondest memories. On the other... Shhhhhhhh, popularity all to often ruins things. Don't make it look too nice, lest it become Muskoka 2.0. Kidding, a bit.. Great video.
It’s cost effective for families who are camping in the backcountry when you break down the cost of the $10-15 freezedried meal bags at a camping store
5:46 I like this design. Can you put a direct link to the page. I like the grill and the lid. Also you could put a window screen in front to keep the ashes out. 😊 When i try to go to the link it says its not a secure website. I am in USA.
Do you smell like smoke? I want to get this for my yard to do multiple times a week but I hate smelling like a fire I would get a sauna hat for my hair but can’t wash it every time
We only make it for personal use, but I do believe you need a commercial kitchen (inspected and licensed) to sell to others. It’d be worth looking into though! And local fair might not require as most are home baked goods anyways
Yup you’re right! Except I’m not sure they just sell the lucky charm mashmallows separately 🤔 and this way we can have them at a larger size/portion for snacks while camping, etc
Could you send a link for the freeze drying machine? Or maybe not the exact one but something you’d recommend? I am very curious about freeze drying now, thank you!
