I've driven thru TENNESSEE ON I40 & WEST VIŔGINIA & VIRGINIA ON I 81 & I 77, not so much anymore. When you see layers of rocks 80 drgrees from horizontal, you cant help but wonder, how the heck did that happen. Its been 25 years since my last trip through the mountains.AND NOW I KNOW.. THANKS!!!

The world is flat. When you said you could see 125 miles. The curvature of earth if one. You wouldn’t see what you see. It would be behind the curve. .8 x distance squared. You couldn’t see a person 3 miles away with binocs. Behind the curve.

Where did the force come from, to elevate the Himalayas 5+ miles into the sky? Ever try punching yourself in the face, hard enough to do some damage? It's pretty hard to do, explaining why "perpetual motion machines" don't exist. Something "helped" push up the Himalayas, and the Rockies/Andes Cordillera, among several such chains. Oh, and it did not happen that long ago. Far less than the standard "millions of years ago" measure so beloved by geologists, and others, who, when faced by unanswerable questions, punt the timeline into the endzone.

The first mountain chain was the Ouachita Mountains that snaked its way across Texas and the South to head up along the East Coast to end up in present day Russia. Those have eroded away with a few nubs above the surface in Texas and their exposed roots forming the Ouachita Mountains in Oklahoma and Arkansas along with the Ural Mountains in Russia.

I have done further research to find The 360° 60' 60" DMS system is multifaceted. The invented hexydecimal ratio is a grid on the stars to find angular position on a line between the centre of this Earth - without distance measurement for a days rotation of the Earth The DMS Ratio also provides pragmatic navigation with a standard Natical Mile of 1000 fathoms (6000 feet) before later arbitrary shorter Imperial and Metric mimics. A standard arc radian Nautical Mile of 6000 original feet does not need tedious Earth radius calculations Is future proofed for better quality observations by a a 6000 foot minute of latitude (60") has an 1 arc second of 100 feet, a "ten"th of a second as ten feet and a hundredth of a second as 1 foot A simple original drawn unitary circle quadrant can provide direct cosine latitude (θ) angle ratio of course midpoint to provide to correction multiplication ratio for true distance between longitudes for simple course distances. The brother of latitude and longitude is measurement free triangulation mapping by bearing intersection triangles (PlanecTable Mapping named in the 1400's) controlled by occasional DMS points and giving map scale at triangle corners to quickly produce maps and charts without contours. Detail maps, commonly without contours were usual up until World War 2. A common trading system based on the original foot relates lenth to volume and weight witha pint 5 inches wide, 7 inches long and one inch deep for 35 cubic inches giving an eight inch gallon of 280 cubic inches holding 10 pounds of water. A 360° circle acknowledges pre existence of DMS latitude and longitude 60 minutes and 60 seconds for time acknowledges the pre existence of DMS latitude and longitude. Other simple methods are available for comparing solar days (365/yr) with Celestial days (366/yr) for longitude position.

Maps and charts were made to scale with angles. Starting with observations to features from two points called a baseline intersecting bearings create triangles to scale establishing the position of all points to scale including the baseline. No distance is needed to start Explorers used Mountain tops to establish the position of points below. Navigators used peaks and coast features for map. Latitude and longitude was invented before the bronze age to do several things. It invented hexidecimals for an angular grid of 360° 60' 60" (DMS) on the stars measured from the centre of the Earth. The ratio of 360° (degrees) with 60' (minutes) for each degree and 60" (seconds) for each minute also divides the surface of the Earth for pragmatic Distance Navigation into standard radian Nautical Miles each minute of latitude of 1000 standard fathoms. It is inherent within the DMS ratio because pragmatically a thousand fathoms (6000 feet) gives an arc second of 100 feet, a "ten"th of a second of "ten" feet and a hundredth of a second is one foot. This ratio is also future proofing of DMS for better accuracy from instruments for angle observations. The pragmatic nature of DMS overcame the introduction of a shorter half fathom by English King Edward 1st after 1275 CE (yard/foot) with a shorter 5280 foot Statute mile for a 24,000 equator (it failed there) but persisted as today's foot. An English scientist commented later this gave 6068 (Edward) feet for a Nautical Mile. The DMS ratio also gives a relationship between length volume and weight for trading where a pint is 5 inches wide, 7 inches long and 1 inch deep for 35 cubic inches giving a 280 cubic inch gallon of 10 pounds Portolan maps show how well developed this triangulation mapping system had developed.over the millenia. A deep heuristic (mathematical computer) study of Portolan could only establish course books of three navigators was used make the maps called Bearings to Ports of the Mediteranean Sea. It could not establish how the map was made. The clue was in the title. "Bearings" Intersection bearing triangulation maps. This type of map started being called Plane Table mapping in the 1400'. A lattitude and longitude point establishes your angukar position on a line between the centre of the Earth and the stars. This allows a rigid angular structure for a scale map made of (bearing intersection) triangles and also give Navigatoon distances of Nautical Miles. The ephemeral nature of ancient original maps mean they only survive over ages by copying. The ancient Finaeus map that has been found shows a reasonably correct position and correct shape of an ice free Antarcticaat least 6000 years ago long before recent history found it. In Captain Cook's search for Antarctica he was able to "Plane Table" map the entire coast of New Zealad as well as the full length of continental east coast of Australia within s few maps. Compiled from history

It is highly un_academic and un_scientific if the hypothesis is taken as fact, Pangaea is a hypothesis and I disapprove it. There is no doubt about floating tectonic plates but one must not forget the fact of lava condensation to form land masses. Another point is taking the hypothesis of solid iron core as fact as I disagree with it too. It doesn't fits in the pictures.
