The McClung Student Advisory Board was pleased to present a lecture by Henry Skerritt, the curator of the Indigenous Arts of Australia at the Kluge-Ruhe Aboriginal Art Collection of the University of Virginia.
Skerritt's lecture will complement the exhibition, "Shane Pickett: Djinong Djina Boodja (Look at the Land that I Have Traveled)", which was on view at the McClung Museum from January 14 through May 7. His lecture was co-sponsored by the UT Department of Anthropology and Department of Geography.
The touring exhibition, "Shane Pickett: Djinong Djina Boodja (Look at the Land that I Have Traveled),"was a partnership between the Mossenson Art Foundation, the Embassy of Australia in Washington DC, and the Kluge-Ruhe Aboriginal Art Collection of the University of Virginia.
This program took place on February 23, 2022.
