how long did it take you to get your weight back to where it was ? (68 kgs) i have my parents' anniversery coming up and i'm currently eating at maintainence so knowing what to expect would be helpful, will it take a week? 2 weeks? will i just gain and need a deficit to fix it ? thank you :)
@@mohamadsorya6718 took me 1 week, but I am still bulking at this point so, my weight went up to 69 kg. I’d say 2 weeks is the maximum amount of time but it depends if on what you eat (eg high sodium) but I’d say keep maintaining after the anniversary, and get back on track
@@Aarontheacelifts thank you for your reply. So if i want to maintain my weight, how should I handle cheat days? What happens to the extra calories when i keep eating at maintenance?
@@mohamadsorya6718 You gain/lose fat over a week~. For example, my maintenance is 3,000 kcals a day, meaning 21,000 kcals per week to maintain my weight. If I had a 7,000 kcal cheat day and want to maintain my weight, I could only eat 14,000 kcals for the rest of the week (2,300 kcals for the 6 days). This applies to you, make sure your still in a calorie balance at the end of the week.
You are doing great mate. In a few years time, you will be one of the best fitness influencers. Just keep on grinding the videos and the gym. Have fun on your journey!
Great script and exceptional editing, appreciate your clips from Dr. Mike, Jeff, and Greg. I don't know how old your channel is but I'm excited to see where you go from here 🙂
"and the winner of the XXXX Arnold Classic" ... WHY would anyone want to win a contest named after someone who isn't even you ... even if you win, it still pretty much equates to "congratz on your victory, but remember, you're still Arnold Schwarzenegger's little bitch" ...
As much as I thank Arnold for revolutionising the bodybuilding space. I do also believe he can be treated with too much grace, causing current Olympia winners (such as Arnold in the 70s) to be in the shadow of Arnold. Hoepfully, future generations will see the likes of Chris Bumstead or Phil heath as we do Arnold.
The best strategy to social media's decision fatigue is to stop using social media. Go to the gym and just try things until you learn what's best for your body I do ring push ups, inverted rows, assisted pull/chin ups, assisted dips, body weight squarts, calf raises, sit ups and 15% 2.0MPH treadmill. I can't remember which month I even started this year, but my 2 rep min assistance on chin ups is down to 12.50LBS Stop thinking of other people's strategies (too much), just do your own thing which is what you're best at
The statement "bodybuilding is an illusion" is the most ABSURD statement I've heard over 30 years of bodybuilding myself because it's actually VERY REAL make no mistake of that ! For example I've heard this oh if you just add a quarter inch of muscle on the delts they look so much bigger but what many don't understand is the sheer amount of hard work/effort it takes to put that "little bit" of muscle on the shoulders is HUGE , especially given that the delts aren't naturally prone to hold a lot of tissue in the first place & that quarter inch doesn't just magically appear in one spot it spans the entire length/breadth of the shoulders so that's A LOT of muscle !
Getting into shape, building your confidence, social skills, and working on yourself SHOULD guarantee results, but unfortunately, we don't live in a world of guarantees. You can do all of these, but if the universe hates you enough, still fail to get results. Let alone the results you deserve.
