I comment on your video just to help people always in my opinion it is better to invest a little more in spare parts I recommend in this case to buy k&n filter is washable maybe it will last until the end of the car I already have 30 thousand miles with it and it looks like I bought it recently. I live here in California and I always use the air conditioning all year round.

I could not for the life of me get the screws out of the front grill. I'm not about to take off my bumper. So I just got two flat heads and Bam emblem in 11 pieces. I didn't use the screws again mine came with 3M adhesive on the backs of the new emblems pretty much just rip off and stick
When you are embarrassed to drive a Hyundai, you change the badge with a genesis, which is still a Hyundai, you can fool other people, but you can’t fool yourself.
Just changed mine using this vid. A couple tips, don't pull the glovebox down too much, the dampener arm is not very durable, when reinsertiing the tabs, put the plastic piece in first, then the rubber part. I did not have to use any tools. Thanks for posting!
The first video where someone explains which driver the unused to remove the back badge. Everyone else just segues to "Okay, got those out." That plate is damn near impossible to get around and which screw driver can access it is key!

Now you can see the shape of the H still, thats why you buy one with a "art of speed" background to cover the shape. for anyone else looking to re badge.
Too much work. I just took a long 24" flat head screwdriver and slid it down behind the grille. With a little bit of force, the plastic clips popped right off. The rear emblem is screwed in through the trunk and can't be popped off in the same way. You need to drill through the steel panel on the inside of the trunk lid to access the screws.
Here is how I did the front emblem on mine: I took a drill and put a hole in both spots where the rivets are (or close to it) on the flying H. The emblem just pops off. Took 30 seconds. I don't know why people would pry on their bumper like that?
i like what i believe is an after market grille that has no spot for a badge and it appears to be smaller than "stock:" ( this grille ) please correct me if im wrong
Hyundai's have came a long way.. I own an 06 Sonata V6 with about 150k and I've ran the shit outta the car, and it still runs like a champ. To the people asking why people re badge the genesis "H" with the wing badge is because it looks cooler, doesn't mean they're ashamed of driving a Hyundai.. most of you that are talking shit are probably driving crappy ass cars any ways.
also like the genesis sedan for example it comes with the genesis emblem on the rims, steering wheel and front, but the H on the back.. why they did that? who knows, but it looks out of place.. in korea the genesis come default with the genesis wings, dont know why they change them in North america , and not just have them stock with the wings like in korea
+Georgie Merrill. This is not an ordinary "Korean" car dude it is a Genesis lol u can even consider it a really powerful Japanese car buddy, it has taken number 1 in Formula Drift 2011.
Because of the nicer looking (in my opinion) winged emblems. You can get them in a carbon fiber look that i think look really nice and adds a great exotic look to the car.
Thanks sooooo much Kevin for the instruction. Dealer wanted me to pay around $60ish JUST for the filters which didn't include labor. Bought the air filter AND the cabin filter for $25ish. I replaced the cabin filter in our 2012 Genesis this afternoon, and am feeling great. My husband is always excited when I can do these things myself, plus, it makes me feel like a million bucks. One suggestion.....I was able to pop the side "panels" that held in the glove box, but it was difficult to see some of it. Maybe get someone else to video you while you put the filter in - just a thought, not a criticism. Thanks again Kevin.
