Rebadging my Genesis Coupe (Custom Wing Emblem) 

Damn hyundai really doesn't want anyone to remove their badges lol

Now you can see the shape of the H still, thats why you buy one with a "art of speed" background to cover the shape. for anyone else looking to re badge.

Look folks ( at 2:01 ), it's a BMW in the garage with the Hyundai. So someone CAN drive a German vehicle and enjoy a Korean one too..

@tapanpatel88 No problems to speak of yet. Keep in mind I live in California, so it hasn't been the toughest of weather conditions :). I think the adhesive works pretty good though.

@krkirkpat 3m adhesive remover took me about 2 minutes to get all the sticky stuff off that you were trying to get off at the ending part of the video for a future reference!

Here is how I did the front emblem on mine: I took a drill and put a hole in both spots where the rivets are (or close to it) on the flying H. The emblem just pops off. Took 30 seconds. I don't know why people would pry on their bumper like that?

@tapanpatel88 difficult to remember now, pretty sure I did it with just adhesive. Looking back at the video that would have been pretty hard to get the screws back in there.

@uguess94 I did get the art of speed plate, but I didn't really like the way it looked so I didn't put it on. You are right though that I probably wouldn't have had to shave that section though if I used that plate.

1 year after the tape is holding up extremely well...i did not use screws for either the front or the back...i didn't use the supplied tape though. I used my own 3M double sided RED tape...that stuff is super strong...been through dozens of car washes without any problems...knock on wood lol

Bro, from where can I buy wing emblem? I bought my Coupe from Attrell Hyundai in Brampton, the worst dealership... They promised, they will order the Wing Emblem and install it for free but before they can do that, they asked me to sign the paperwork... But guess what? I bought the car, but what happened to the Wing Emblem, they don't remember, they don't care...All Canadian do not shop at ATTRELL HYUNDAI in Brampton...

It don't matter how u get there. Just as long as you get there.

oh yea btw on the back emblem u dont have to take them 2 screw out, just tie the emblem with the string then pull it out

@krkirkpat yea becauase i just did it to my car and i was jus lookin up vids on youtube and saw this and wasnt sure if you got it because i bought it from importshark like you said in the comments (great btw came quick) and i put it on the front and back but i got my car in black so its not that noticeable but your review help a lot & btw what are your thoughts on the car itself

It is the Genesis Sign from Hyundai used on the Sedan version. People think it looks nicer. I personally do

Small wood chisel and a hammer...Can go in right behind the H (where each tab is) and you can shear them right off in a couple taps. No need to mar the outer edge with that screwdriver.

The fact this emblem looks better than the Hyundai emblem tells you just how shit the Hyundai emblem is 😂.

i like what i believe is an after market grille that has no spot for a badge and it appears to be smaller than "stock:" ( this grille ) please correct me if im wrong

i kept the original emblem on mines so people will know right off the bat that this little beast is actually a Hyundai.

The first video where someone explains which driver the unused to remove the back badge. Everyone else just segues to "Okay, got those out." That plate is damn near impossible to get around and which screw driver can access it is key!

@attitude8x I asked once and I got a quote of $500 including the parts. That wasn't worth it for me. I am seeing a lot of coupes now where the dealers put this on before they sell the car though...

did you get The Art Of Speed plate too because if you put that plat eon the front you wouldnt have too had shave the wing down and you wouldnt be able to see the H behind the emblem

I could not for the life of me get the screws out of the front grill. I'm not about to take off my bumper. So I just got two flat heads and Bam emblem in 11 pieces. I didn't use the screws again mine came with 3M adhesive on the backs of the new emblems pretty much just rip off and stick

@albiel07 Mainly just used a bunch of "goo gone"

Take Dental Floss or 30lb fishing line wrap it around two large screwdrivers and remove the emblem with Floss or fishing line.

on my car i just used a hair dryer and heated up the emblems and then just tore them off

just adhesive the damn thing... all that work for a few screws and badge... geeze..... but looks nice and well done video..

Hyundai's have came a long way.. I own an 06 Sonata V6 with about 150k and I've ran the shit outta the car, and it still runs like a champ. To the people asking why people re badge the genesis "H" with the wing badge is because it looks cooler, doesn't mean they're ashamed of driving a Hyundai.. most of you that are talking shit are probably driving crappy ass cars any ways.

Too much work. I just took a long 24" flat head screwdriver and slid it down behind the grille. With a little bit of force, the plastic clips popped right off. The rear emblem is screwed in through the trunk and can't be popped off in the same way. You need to drill through the steel panel on the inside of the trunk lid to access the screws.
