Having flown with Qantas for the past thirty years, our most recent trip on a 11 .45 pm departure ex Singapore was a major downer when it came to the breakfast flying over Australia: it was a meagre performance with no choice, no table cloth. Having offered to pre order her breakfast to the FA shortly after take off, she was informed that breakfast would be from the cart. Having had dinner in the lounge, she did not relish the supper. So, not wishing to eat the yoghurt, muesli or the egg brioche , she was offered no alternative in the morning. For a platinum QFF, flying in Y it was the last straw. Yes, the seat is OK, but the FAs are not supported by management who are screwing the paying , loyal customers in this case for the last time.
The landing is smooth ngl. This year June I flew on scoot A320CEO from Fu Zhou to Singapore. The pilot slammed the whole plane down. And it was a girl pilot :/. The plane was in perfect position for a nice butter landing but the pilot decided to do Ryanair landing. Flight : TR174 Depart : Fu Zhou International Airport (I forgot what name) Arrive : Singapore Changi International Boarding time : 1pm Arrival time : 6pm
This is so exciting to watch. Off on a round trip to Poland in 2 weeks. Qantas and code share Emirates on the way back. Making the most of my short lived Platinum card and can get into First lounges. Applied for upgrade to First on the Singapore to London leg. We’ve been granted this twice before. Thank you for making such an inspiring video. 👏🇦🇺
Thank you for this review. I'm glad your flight was comfortable and enjoyable. Did you get up and walk around often? I've never done a flight that long and have restless legs and sometimes sciatica issues. Just wondering. I hope to visit UAE one day and esp fly with Emirates 😊
Hi thank you for your comment ! It’s usually difficult to walk around during the flight when you have 2 people next to you. I would suggest you to pick a direct isle seat when you fly to UAE. Hope tou Will fly emirates soon too !
5:45, The inflight entertainment map TV and seat is similar and identical to my flight that I flew the Airbus A350-900 on the 5th freedom flight for the 1st time last June from Barcelona to Milan and the flight is good and okay.
Awesome trip review! The 2-2-2 always turned me off this product, but glad to see it is better than expected. Will certainly fly it on my next trip over to the Gulf.
An other very good one. What’s your secret to make so many great videos. Almost 100 of them in 2.5 years if I refer to your RU-vid channel starting date ?
Wow! I’m impressed by your talent at capturing every single details of your journey, it is truly mind blowing how fluid and smooth your hand movements are, wondering how far that can get you, perhaps in other industries!!
I love Penn state sour cream pretzels! Not sure what the complaint is for. It’s very clear on their website what you get in each class of travel regardless of LHR operations or City Flyer or Euro Flyer. What I do like with BA is the fare structure is simple. No hidden fees like low cost airlines who seem to have fees for everything including breathing on board!!! Many times I have found BA cheaper than EasyJet and Ryanair once every single fee has been added to their fares. Plus join their executive club free of charge and even blue members get free messaging on board which is a nice touch. Worked for me a treat when we went to Krakow a couple of weeks ago.
