Greeting! I have a question. I want to join a football team. From that team, I know some players visually and I saw that some smoke. I'll never smoke because I hate it. If I don't do that, will they accept me into the team? Do you have to smoke to be a footballer? I know it's a weird question, but man, this question got into my head and don't let me, please help me):/
This is a valid question. It’s just like at school growing up when people drink, smoke, or party and pressure you to do so too. You absolutely do not need to smoke to be a footballer. In fact it’s harmful to you as a player as it makes it more difficult to be as fit as other players. It’s important that you try to fit into the team socially, but you should not smoke. Try to find other ways to get closer to the group and spend time with them. It’s a valid question because I’ve gone through similar experiences and pressures in my life. I hope this helps🫶🏼🫶🏼
That’s totally natural! You just have to master the habit so it becomes second nature to lock your ankle as you strike the ball. My advice for players struggling with this is to do this drill every time you train. Get a partner and have them 3-5 yards away from you with the ball their hand. Have them toss the ball to your feet so you can volley it back to their chest with your laces. Do 20-30 reps every time you train. To lock your ankle, point your toes downward as you volley it back to him. If your ankle is locked, the ball will travel back to your partner’s chest without any spin on the ball. If your ankle is not locked, the ball will have backspin as it goes back to your partner. I hope this helps😁🫶🏼
It’s hard for me to help you specifically without seeing your technique. My advice is to have someone record you hitting long balls so that way you can see exactly how you look. Then compare that with what you’re seeing in this video! But you likely need to lean back more as you’re hitting these passes or hit lower on the ball so that way you get more height on the passes. I hope this helps😁🫶🏼
i am 14 now and i was trash at football. now im one of the best players and play for the school team under 19. all thx to your vids really wanna thank u for all the help. keep making the amazing videos!
It’s a good problem to have! Aim lower when shooting because if the ball rises as you shoot, it’ll fly into the top corner. If you aim for the top corner and the shot rises, it’ll go over the goal. There’s 2 common ways to keep your shots lower. 1. Over exaggerate leaning over the ball. This will cause your leg to go straight through the ball keeping your shot lower. Leaning back has the opposite effect. It causes your leg to go up through the ball as you shoot causing your shot to rise. 2. Hit a little bit higher on the ball, close to the midline of the ball. Hitting this spot causes your shot to be a lower, laser beam of a shot. Hitting lower on the ball has the opposite effect, causing your shot to be more lofted and have more height. I hope this helps😁🫶🏼
This happens for a couple of reasons. Firstly, it allows your shooting leg to strike lower on the ball more easily since your hips are lower than if you were up straight. Secondly, and more importantly, it helps for body stability. As you shoot you’re putting a lot force through your standing leg. If you have a straight knee as you shoot, you are not allowing any additional movement in that leg in its current position. Whereas if your knee is bent, the force can dissipate by causing your knee to straighten out first. Your follow through landing on your kicking foot also helps your body deal with the force. This is the long way of saying that having your knee bent will reduce the risk of hyperextension of your knee from shooting. Hope this helps😁🫶🏼
My advice is to have a friend record you shooting from back and side angles in slow motion so you can slow it down and really analyze your technique. If you do this and upload it to RU-vid let me know and I’ll take a look👍🏼
Many channel get good amount of views but failed to deliver quality content but you my friend are delivering good content and helping people like us who can't join Club's due to financial condition . Thank you so much on behalf of all of us 😊😊😊😉😉
That may be something I offer in the future for people who live in the same area as me. But unfortunately I travel far too much right now that I can’t make it happen. If that changes you’ll see something from me about it😁👍🏼
bro idk bout you but barefoot playing is better. Imo it’s way easier to do tricks such as the rainbow as I have better grip. Also I can get a VERY tight grip on it compared to with shoes, which helps for various tricks.
Depends on how much curl you get consistently on your shots! Some players get lots of whip and shape on their curlers in comparison to others. My advice is to go find out how much curl you get on your shots consistently. Trial and error. Take shots and keep aiming wider and wider until you’re consistently putting it in the side panel. Then you know about how far wide you should aim for yourself! Hope this helps😁🫶🏼
a question not realted to the power shot vid but its important for me.When i try to shoot with curve it works but the bone that is underneath my thigh hurts anyonr know how i reduce this thing this thing makes ne shoot with less power
I’m sorry I don’t know how to help you with this. My advice would be to find a sports doctor or athletic trainer to assess it and help you if you can! Hope it gets well soon!!
Here’s how I improved my weak foot. Take one shot with your strong foot. Then take the next shot with your weak foot. Your goal is to mimic the technique of your strong foot and have it feel the same as your strong foot. It’ll always feel a bit weird since it isn’t your natural foot, but this got really impressive results for me quickly😁🫶🏼
Why does my quad feel like it’s going to explode after 10 kicks? It’s been like this for 3 weeks now. I stretch and drink water. Me and my friends practice only once a week. Why is my quad killing me? I’ve always been athletic just never played soccer before
I don’t know! Kicking in soccer is going to use your quads unlike how they’ve ever been used before.. If it’s really bad I’d recommend seeing a doctor or athletic trainer to take a look at it but hopefully your body heals and back stronger than before soon!🫶🏼
One thing I overlooked (you didn’t mention it but it was obvious from the great camera angles) is to shoot the ball at the level of your standing foot. I have a tendency to shoot the ball when it’s ahead of me. Great videos by the way. I watched the one about the ping pass. Awesome!
Absolutely! If the ball is too far out in front of you, you’ll really struggle to get the power and height you’re looking for on your strikes. And thank you! I’m glad you’re getting value from the videos😁🫶🏼
