Greetings, we are California transplants going from the big city to the country life. We are a home school family of eleven, with six boys and three girls.
We live on 3 small acres in Carthage, Missouri, which we call our "Little Patch of Heaven". We are Christians, and could do none of this without His daily grace.
In our videos, we hope to share with you our love for gardening, raising animals, and homemade recipes from our homestead.

Great preserving, I’d frozen tomatoes like that as they came in so I’d have enough for batches to can, sauces, relishes and ketchups. Your gathering place looks wonderful too, Joyce. ❤👍🏻

I harvest a boatload of young leaves in early summer, then blanch in plenty of boiling water and freeze in ziplocks for use all year. This plant is big medicine

I used to pull the Lambs quarter as weeds for years! This year I found out what they are! I absolutely love the drying racks! It was so good to see you! 💗💕
It's not how beautiful the garden looks. it's about the journey and harvesting it. Taking care of God's world My chickens keep eating my tomatoes. I heard green tomatoes aren't good for chickens. Wish I could find comfrey. Would love to grow that. I think there might be a few grasshoppers, but the chickens love them too. That's another plant. I want to grow the elderberry plant.
