Indeed. And I loved how everyone thanked him, including Carlitos Alcaraz who shook his hand in gratitude. Well done Lance! Tournament should give him some sort of award in my opinion.
I'm really glad Lance pulled through.I watched the Programe all the time.its always at 3 in the morning.dont sleep.and I really like Lance.hes excellent at his job.and I was gutted to see his unfortunate accident.Im so glad he's back doing what good at.And wish him all the very best.lovely family round him.if I was there I would help as well.all my wishes Dave Stevens.UK.🙂
This is what happened to that school bus. This bus has automatic transmission, the driver came down the hill using the shift selector placed in drive, which D position of the selector. CHP or someone from state safety took the picture of the gear selector and it was at D position. Selector in D position is fine for normal driving on flat street or on freeway, but not when you are coming down the hill. When the driver left the parking lot he placed the selector to D position. As he descended down the hill driver should have shift down to lower gear to 3 rd gear but he did not shift down. The bus picked up speed as the bus was going down the hill, at that point is not too late to shift down to 3rd gear. Driver used his brakes to slow down but it most likely overheated the brakes and caused the brakes to fade. Driver did not use engine braking to slow down and that what caused the bus to crash. This was avoidable accident if driver knew how to drive larger vehicles.
You are 100% incorrect. Both of my mothers were in that crash. It was a young driver who wasn’t properly trained how to use air brakes quit making bullshit up.
@@williamriley-jones sorry about your parents. I just wanted to explained the mechanic of how the trucks and buses are driven down hill and this not BS. You apparently have no experience in driving downhill with large load. This use of down shifting to low gear is with stick shift or automatic transmission does not matter air brakes or hydraulic brakes, truck driver knows not to drive down hill in high gear.
That is perhaps the best summary description one of these things I've seen. And yes, it is MUCH better to have everybody under one roof and not have the patient bounced all over town for this and that.
As a former X-ray assistant, I can say for sure that this machine is a miracle compared to the previous radiation therapy machines. In 2014, the same was put into operation in the national oncology institute in Budapest, it cost HUF 800 million!
Thanks. I developed a-fib after 3 decades of long distance running/racing (including 59 full marathons and hundreds of shorter races and several triathlons). Been fighting a-fib for the last 22 years with powerful drugs, two catheter ablations (radio frequency & cryo balloon) and a mini-maze. The drugs and ablations worked great for between 2 1/2 years to over 6 years but ultimately my heart has recently reverted back into persistent a-fib. I’m scheduled for another ablation in two months. Good health!
Ive had 2 ablations and have been converted once, its a struggle it keeps coming back when ever it wants, I don’t drink anymore i hardly have caffeine. Its ruining my life, sometimes id wish I would just die, Im so over it.
I had a stroke, which led to finding of a PFO. Two weeks after the PFO closure, I went into afib. I'm hoping it's temporary (studies show it can be after this procedure), but "circling the drain" is how I feel at 41. I was riding century events two years ago, and suddenly I got winded by a flight of stairs. No one can prepare you for that kind of change.
Dr. Ercoli saved my life in July 1995. My daughter sent this to me. She was born in 1998. Thank you, Dr. Ercoli. Not just for my life. But for my daughter, Thayla, as well. My deepest condolences to his friends and family.
God used Dr. Ercoli and his team to save my son’s life about 15 years ago - one of those 2 am situations he talks about in this video. He was a compassionate doctor. We lodged at Hansen House - which he founded - for several weeks. We would not have been able to afford to stay elsewhere. I remember Dr. Ercoli’s demeanor gave us confidence, and how the trauma unit nurses and staff respected and admired him. He was something else. May God bless you all and your invaluable work.
I'm 35, my dad and his mother both have afib and are on meds for it. I've had a few episodes that would last a minute or so and leave. But I had my first intense episode of 170bpm feeling like my heart was going to jump out of my chest a few months ago. I've been anxious since then wondering when the next one will occur.
BRAVO ZULU, Elizabeth, and DRMC! In 2006, the An-2 I was piloting (in Ukraine) experienced an engine failure, resulting in a similar outcome to the airframe. Although I managed to exit the aircraft on my own, my injuries were fairly extensive, but nowhere near what you experienced. With kudos all around for DRMC (and your mom), your eventual recovery and determination to continue to work towards obtaining your PPL is noteworthy. Happy landings!
if ablation fails, no way any alternate way (including diet, exercise or meditation) is going to cure you, don't fall for this story. Triggers are only a minor part of fibrillation, not the reason for it.
I'm 23 and I had surgery on my left lung in 2019 bc of a spontaneous pneumothorax. Then i developed acute afib in 2020 but it got more blantant as of recently. Went to the emergency room in 2022 for afib that wouldnt stop. I never felt like that in my life and ive never had any problems with any vital organ ever. I think some how, im experiencing postoperative afib. A problem that developed due to the surgery on the lung. Been believing God for deliverance from this for 2 straight years.
Is it true that is you have sole Afib (you score low on the CHADS2VASC), that your chances of getting a stroke is no more than if you had no Afib ? Whereas those with high CHADS2VASC score but no afib are at the same increased risk of stroke as those with Afib with similarly highs scores?
I have a transplanted heart and two transplanted lungs. I cry every time I see one of these videos because this let's me see what my donors families went through, it also reminds me of the same honor walk done for my brother in 2011.
I found your story uplifting and relatable. I too started on a bike at 5. Still on it. Diagnosed with afib 3 yrs ago. Emergency room missed it 5 times. Ablation sounds like my best option. I tolerate very few drugs. I'd love to get back to aggressive cycling again. Anybody?
I have been there. I dealt with A-fib for 30 years it drove me crazy. I tried meds diet etc. I had the same issues you did with social engagements. I did the cause and effect tried everything. It was irritating for me because I live a clean life no drugs alcohol I mountain bike go kayaking and go to the gym. The A-fib prevented me from that for years. Finally I got the ablation it took two for me.
