Great video. Very informative. A simple question: How do one shows proof of payment if Apple Pay is used for the payment? Thank you so much for your input 🙏🏽
Good question! Its best for you to seek information on the interrail or swedish train website, as we are not familiar with this as students living in Stockholm :)
Hi! I have just been offered a nice studio apartment at KI residence Solna. Does the apartment come with cooking utensils or/and blankets sheets, and pillows?
Hi congratulations! Yes the kitchens are fully equiped and blankets and pillows are provided. However for more uptodate info, KI housing will provide you more info via mail, closer to the move in date :)
The biomedicine bachelor's as well as the global master's programmes are taught entirely in english. You won't need to speak Swedish to complete the course!
Hello there! I have one question continuously bugging me: Do students in KI have to speak, read, and take tests all in Swedish? Or do you have an option?
No, theres no need to know swedish at all to complete an english programme! There are multiple courses however, such as medicine, that are fully in swedish.
Hello there! I have one question continuously bugging me: Do students in KI have to speak, read, and take tests all in Swedish? Or do you have an option?
Hi, for the global programmes, you need to be able to speak read and take exams in English. The Ki websites has information on what language sufficiency you must have. education.ki.se/bachelors-masters-studies/apply
I am speaking from Bangladesh. I really want to study in korolinska Institute. Can I apply there after passing HSC or Bachelor of Science? What kind of result is required to be admitted there? And how much does it cost? I want to apply there
Hi! Glad to hear that! For requirements and study fees check out the website for uptodate information :) education.ki.se/bachelors-masters-studies/apply
Hi! Thank you for these awesome tips! I have a question about SSSB, please What are the best buildings to book if I will be studying at KI Solna campus? I think PAX is pretty popular, but what are other good (or better) options? By the way, I am specifically looking for a studio. Thank you very much in advance!
Hi! Pax and Strix are the closest one, some students also live at Lappis, but the best options always have a lot of waiting days, so most still choose studio at Pax to my knowledge:) DA Yan
Hi! Thank you for the very helpful video! I have a question about EHIC, please. I am a European citizen but I am not living in Europe. It seems I can't apply for an EHIC. But I will be studying for 2 years, so I can get a Swedish personal number (which should give me access to the Swedish healthcare). My question is: how much time does it take to get the personal number after arrival? Is it a period long enough that I need to get an EHIC? Thank you!
I assume you mean whether you should get Swedish health insurance? It depends on whether you have intentions of staying after the studies or not and what I know is that you might need to have workd here to be eligible. THere is time for you to get it after the personnummer etc. but you should have insurance planned before starting your study :) check out the website of försökringskassa: www.forsakringskassan.se/privatperson for more info (its availble in english) DA Yan
@@KIStudentVlogs Thank you for your response! I was actually referring to this paragraph written on the KI website for EU students: "If you are admitted to a study programme lasting longer than 12 months, you should also apply for a Swedish personal number to be entitled to regular healthcare at the same subsidised patient fees as Swedes" So I was thinking I can just apply for the personal number when I arrive in Sweden instead of getting private insurance or EHIC.
hello there i just finished my mbbs from china and iam thinking to do european master in health economics and management..is it a good decision and what scope do i have in future jobs in europe
Hello! Glad to hear you are interested in the masters programme! I would suggest you read about the programme at both the KI official website and also the student blog studentblogs.ki.se/ specifically from a student from that masters and if you have more question you can reach out to Yohannes who is currently the digital ambassador for the specific programme :)
Hello, how are you? I am going to visit southern Sweden near Denmark or maybe Stockholm on February 8th ( do you recommend south of Sweden or near Stockholm and why?). I want to see the beauty of winter and the SNOW, I especially chose the beginning of February because I heard that it's the month with the most snowfall. Is this true? I want to see Sweden completely white, covered in deep snow. Will I find it on February 8th or will the snow have melted? And if you recommend a specific rural area in southern Sweden or near Stockholm , near the nature that is covered in snow and beautiful for a holiday among the snow, could you mention its name because I haven't booked accommodation yet. Thanks ! Waiting for your reply 😄.
Hi Daniela! I think your best bet is to go through the supervisor list at studenteriforskning.se/ and find judge where you want to apply based on your areas of interest within research. Good luck! :)

You can find the course information on our website education.ki.se/programme-syllabus/2LK13 or contact the admissions team at education.ki.se/contact-admissions ! You might be interested in knowing however, that the medicine course is taught only and entirely in Swedish.
Hi daniel, The residence permit extension once you are here takes months to be processed, so most students apply as soon as possible. Prior to coming to Sweden it varies a lot so best is to ask the embassy / authorities responsible for your case.
I’m also from Spain. I’m going to apply for Biomedicine bachelor for 2024 I really hope KI accepts me. I just wanted to know if it is common to coincide with other spanish students? And also, if it has been difficult for Mireia to get along with other students.
Hi Luna Marina. Glad you are interested in the bachelor programme! As our global programmes are truly international, the chances are quite high to encounter a fellow spanish person! As Mireira has graduated, I cant say on her behalf but usually since everyone is new at the uni, everyone is looking for new friendships and are easy to get along with! -DA Yan
