Eww, even the thought of having to use a public shower makes me cringe. I would definitely bring in a bottle of diluted bleach in a spray bottle and spray down the area before I took a shower. I would definitely wear flip-flops too. Anybody can use this information whenever they use a public shower at a truck stop, a gym, a campground or even when going to a hotel. Since bleach and water solutions need to be made fresh each day you use them, only make what you need for that day. Because the bleach combined with tap water breaks down quickly. And don’t guess! Always measure. Start by measuring the water, then use a measuring spoon to add the correct amount of bleach. You need the correct ratio of bleach and water to kill germs. If a surface is visibly soiled, pre-clean before disinfecting. For sanitizing: use a 16 oz spray bottle, mix 1 1/2 cups cool water with 2 teaspoons of bleach. The amount of time that the solution must stay on the surface to actually kill the germs is 5 minutes. This will kill germs such as MRSA, E. coli, Staph, Salmonella + SARS-CoV-2, HIV-1, Rhinovirus, Rotavirus, Strep, Bordetella, Listeria + Herpes, MERS, Ebola + Athletes Foot Fungus. If possible, open windows to allow good air circulation where you’re disinfecting. You can also use a battery powered fan to improve air circulation in rooms without windows. (You can purchase one at Walmart). When using a spray bottle to apply the sanitizing solution, clean the bottle immediately when finished. Pour unused contents of the bottle down the sink or shower drain, then rinse the bottle and sprayer mechanism with clean water. I got all this information from the Clorox website. ✌️👍
@adrianruiz8690 i would check the local rules for the national forest. I believe when we were there we could not due to high risk of wildfires and also wildfires were happening that we had to leave early.
I've never understood how any urine diverting toilet can work, but they obviously do. For me and my young kids, right after number 1 and number 2 come out of us, they merge right away into a single mixed stream. It isn't as though number 2 is always neatly falling in the back while the urine precisely and separately falls more forward.
Thank you for getting to the point right away and describing the road, size of rig and showing the campsites! I subscribed to your channel for those reasons!
Thanks! that was a new thing for me, trying to find many clips, close ups, wide shots, drone shots, etc. plus a wide variety of landscape. the hardest part was music and lining the shots up with the music.
Then it does indeed qualify for the name ‘privacy tent’ as per video title, but to me in no way a ‘shower tent’. I mean yes, you could have a dry shower, but….
Fantastic - I was thinking there was a work around and you two found it and showed us how- Australia that toilet 50$ that Funnel 50$ =100$ beats paying 800$-1000$ over here for a toilet that l can l can now make for just 100 bucks -hooroo
We tried that and found the vinegar and urine mix was terrible. We have tried a few different varieties. Currently been using citric acid from the canning section at the store mixed with water.
Hello, Apologies we never posted a 6 month review. We are still currently using the induction on our solar system and it has been working well. If cooking a full dinner with it, on 400ah it takes about 10% battery if the sun isn't out. If the pan/pot is too small, sometimes the induction magnet doesn't recognize it very well but we rarely use our tiny pot. We recently sold our van and moved into a custom built truck camper and purchased this same exact induction and same thing, its been working great the last few months.
Fyi they no longer include a bottomless bucket. Came instead with pee sheild? Wtf? And a solid bottom bucket. So it's no bucket at all if i want to use a urine diverter. Disappointed.
Hi, apologize for the late reply. This is still working great, have been using this one for two years no problem. with a 400ah battery system and a full dinner cooked it takes about 10% battery with no sun on our solar panels.

Went by there a week or so ago and it’s pretty busy and ugly Stewart’s point is much nicer but further away I ended up at Boulder beach campground which if you have a senior parks pass it’s $10 a night and I usually don’t like paying it was way nicer with trees and bushes and clean bathrooms and a great view of the lake
Yes, it's not the most aesthetic area but it works. I imagine these places will get busier and busier as time goes by. We haven't been there in a few years, but remember last time we were, some people were basically setting up shop and leaving their rigs to save spots. One got towed while we were there it had been there unoccupied for so long. Thanks for watching!
I have one but the only bad thing about it is that it doesn’t hold up very well n breezy conditions and that’s also being tied down breezy meaning 10 to 12 MPH wind other than that it works fine
I know this video is a year old but for anyone watching, you can get thermal suction cups to insert into the window covers thay keep them tighter against the window
We purchased them on amazon, you have to buy ones that are heavy duty enough to go through the plastic vent cover. Magnets: Small ones for cover itself: a.co/d/0QX2GlL Bigger ones with adhesive for fan plastic cover: www.amazon.com/dp/B07QJ6JMFV?...
Hello, we went away from this style of video and towards cinematic ones we enjoy making more. We love the induction overall. It does require a pretty good electrical system. We have run into issues in the winter months because of getting less sun and the caveat now is that we both have remote jobs so our computers draw a ton of power with both of them plugged in (along with Starlink). Those draw about 250-300 watts. Without those I don't think we'd run into a lot of issues but we do have a portable one burner gas stove as backup for areas like Washington and Oregon.
Hi, its first come first, I don’t recall too many site have enough parking for more than one rv. But we stayed there with a friend and we each parked in a different campsite.
