Look at your oil filter. There is a directional seal at the top so the oil only flows one way and doesn't siphon back when you turn the car off, it holds a lot of oil above that check valve. That rubber around there is basically a check valve
Some of these pans are a metal pan with a metal core. The move to this type of pan was to save weight. Less weight equates to better gas mileage and better performance. On a part as vital as an oil pan look for an aftermarket metal pan.
One time I filled too much refrigerant on my Toyota and it did that, I had to release some for it to run normal. Those gauges on the cheap self freons are useless, cars are meant to take what it’s supposed to.
Another drain bolt stripper using a impact gun for a drain bolt recently I have a customer who took their nice Mercedes to a mechanic shop for an oil change later came to me complaining about a leak and they did this same stupidity and damage the oil pan and believe me when I wasn’t able to buy new or find a use one. I have only one lucky shot and save it, it did worked however the bill for the repair wasn’t that cheap because I have to drop the pan send it to a shop to repair that aluminum pan, plus all the miscellaneous, this $100 dollar oil change became a whopping $700 repair for the customer only because the convince of an impact gun.
Check for slow leaks to just be on the safe side .. If there is pressure its Most likely okay but if the customer put too much freon in it they may have damaged something just a thought..
Never actually measured before but I wouldnt doubt the possibility of aftermarket outers being off slightly in length. Either way I agree this is the best bet and even when your getting paid for the alignment after it’ll require minimal adjustment
Yeah, there's definitely someone flagrantly stealing your voice, too. Had to look twice and I thought you started another RU-vid channel. You only have one, right?
Don’t jog the lift button you can short the motor on. Don’t contact the lift arms with the car. Be a man and use a couple wood blocks like your grandpa and great grandpa did without complaining like a toddler.
i've tried to explain this to people to not buy those diy cans at the auto parts stores. because you can't put the proper amount in also if its leaking you have to fix the leak.
In PHX we put 1-3oz lesser than manufacturer recommended amount. The ambient temp is too high and the high pressure switch keeps kicking off the compressor clutch. 🥵
@@forrestlupercio3335 without a low/high pressure switch yes. The switches and relief valve protect the system. Can't help if oxygen, extra refrigerate or too much oil contaminate they system. Also why they call it "recommend". Manufacturers give a decent ballpark for warranty purposes, my car not under warranty i can give or take however I want. Works best in PHX under charged with extreme heat lesser is better.
