Great video bro i did not even get the bolts with the spacers for the fairing but i did get two different sized engine bolts and the spacer for the engine that fell down on you (dam) i wil check for now you have showed me the thing that worries me is i have a sett installed from previous owner that look the same i wonder if he paid attention to this spacer,,,also i have two spacers in the pacge that look like rhe engine bolt spacer that fell down on you these are both different thicknesses I'm perplexed
3:10 should've squeezed brake handle a bit to extend the pistons a bit further out to clean them better and lubricate them before pushing them back in.
Here in Europe is hard to find those oils . Also Mobil 1 is dropped down from a couple years . I was with Motul but thing that Motorex is way better for the 1290 engine . So I run the Motorex power synt 10W50 MA2 and I have almost 40.000 km in the dash 🙏👍

I just want to say thank you for this video! I have a 2005 CBR1000RR. I pulled out the service manual for mine and it seems that the 2004 and 2005 CBR1000RR have the same torque specs but they are slightly different than the 2006 and 2007 models. If you have a 2004 and 2005 CBR1000RR and watching this video, do not assume the 2006 and 2007 models have the same exact torque specs. Excellent video!
Great video simple, quick, straight to the point. I’ve always run Mobil 1 in all my dirt bikes, street bikes, cars, lawnmowers, UTV…basically anything with an engine. I do however run Castro GTX in my 05 CRF 450 crank case but Mobil 1 in the motor. Amsoil is great stuff just not as easy and convenient to find like Mobil 1.
💡NOT at all a tank explosion😂 The ASA/Regulator came loose. An explosion is instant and will NOT continuously be expelling air from the end of the tank like this😂👍👍👍
I recently changed my oil on my KTM 1290 the oil level is perfect but it's showing low oil warning on the digital display but the red oil light doesn't come on
I have the same bike, I definitely appreciate the walk through, on doing the brakes, I know that you didn’t want to be liable for the wrong information that’s why you didn’t tell any of us the torque spec for those two main bolts but, could you tell me what did you set your too ?
If anybody is wondering what torques, a google came up with these on a forum, so that's what I used: These are the torque settings for the 2004 - 2007 Blade: Front axle bolt 78 Nm Front axle clamp bolts 22 Nm Front brake caliper mounting bolts 45 Nm Front brake pad retaining pins 16 Nm Front brake caliper body joining bolts 23 Nm Brake hose banjo bolts 34 Nm Rear axle nut 113 Nm
