Let's be clear here, when it comes to vintage vs non or multi vintage: Vintage champagne uses only the grapes from a single year's harvest, Multi vintage uses as many as 100 different wines from up to 20 years of harvests, and non vintage champagne uses the wines of three years, normally 50-60% from the current year, and 20-25% from each of the previous 2 years. Cattier made a perfectly acceptable non vintage champagne for years, it cost around $40-50 and was a good value at that price. Armand de Brignac is the very same product, put in a fancy bottle and box! The video also suggests that the dosage step that they do following the bottle ageing is in some way exclusive to them, when in fact it is a regular step in making all champagne. The percentage of sugar in the dosage determines if the champagne is "Brut", "Extra Brut" or "Demi-sec". All of the varieties of Ace of Spades (Brut, Rosé, & Blanc de Blancs) have been tasted and reviewed by acknowledged wine experts many times, and never come close to scoring as high as true premium champagnes like Krug.
