Cerys Matthews just played some beautiful readings of Laurie Lee intertwined with music, along with interviewing a group who are touring with a similar performance, on her BBC Radio 6 Sunday programme. Fabulous!
My friend lives in Slad, and when I suggested we go to The Woolpack pub they said it's very expensive for what you get because of Laurie Lee tourists, and they didn't want to go there, so I ignored what they said and dropped in by myself for a sandwich at lunch, but the woman at the bar said in a snobby way that they don't do sandwiches and wouldn't give me a menu to show what they do sell as said they're fully booked, when all the tables inside were empty, apart from a couple of people sitting at the bar, and many tables empty outside too. Then I followed my friend's recommendation to go to The Royal George in Birdlip and it was much nicer.
Hi Patrick.... If you adjust all of the gain settings down to 80, then that should get rid of the jittering issue. Also, are you in the UK?? If so... Did you have to pay import charges? Mine are being held at the moment.
Yes a physical vibration on take off which was worrying. May have settled down for the rest of the flight - not sure. I need to do some more tests before I trust them!
Wow. I got an enormous sense of the power of that machine from the cab view on the vid. It's like it REALLY wanted to go. I could only imagine what it must be like hurtling down the track at 100 miles an hour... I wonder if there's any cab views of one of these at speed on here.......
