Arizona Bushman is the nickname of John Campbell, also known as John “Arizona Bushman” Campbell. John is a former desert survival instructor from Arizona. He has been into wilderness survival since the age of 8. He grew up in Oklahoma in a small town called Holson Valley. During heavy rains and ice storms, he and his family would be trapped for weeks at a time. Hunting, fishing, trapping, and gardening became a way of life. The family would even raise their own food animals for sustainment during these hard times.
old videos deleted? Yes, I removed my old content. I felt it wasn't representative of my channel anymore. I sincerely felt I had to make a change. While I loved the experiences I had, there was a lot of bad blood and animosity towards me and some of the things I was trying to accomplish. Now, I'll be focused on new projects and going over various topics like camp stoves, knives, firearms, repairs and maintainece, as well as other outdoor gear including military surplus.
@@DannyRiskit My wife and I are hoping to buy some land at some point. I'll be able to get out and do other types of videos then. As it is now, we have to drive an hour and a half away. Between that and working, there really isn't any time for videos 😕
Try your LBV 88 (Blackhawk) with your M1 carbine.30 rounders fit nicely. The grenade pouches fit 15 rounders still using your belt setup. Hope this helps you.
I've done one get home bag video and received a good deal of heat for it. Maybe because I had an opinion on it rather than just showing gear. I feel confident I could walk home from work. I'll be exhausted, but I could make it. Thanks for the video brother
I have several of those, but they don't really fit in this pouch. When I put them in, they have to be under tension. I don't like that because it is too easy to either bend them or weaken them. I keep them in my main pack and my tackle box.
That textured black linen Micarta Geotech hunter is SICK. I love the design and think it would be a great compliment to your full-size knife. I hope that they will be restricted someday. I think I have three of the bushcraft knives and an ulu too. Love them all.
They do, but I've always thought they were a little too thick. Scorpion is a good company, but if things ever start up with them again, I may take them down to an 8th inch.
Good looking blades, was going to suggest if you can get to Harbor Freight, grab some of the brown compound as that should be a little more aggressive than the white compound. My research tells me the brown should be a Tripoli compound and the white a White Diamond. Have an awesome week
It's just a honing solution. I found some online. It's not the same stuff, but I think the stuff I'm using is no longer made. www.sharpeningsupplies.com/Nathans-Honing-Oil-P168.aspx?gclid=CjwKCAiA_OetBhAtEiwAPTeQZ_pi5AZFrYMvF4qlnOahwWbhB0BJzIBLRGHZ5sAEsM1y_pWf_HpycxoCTFMQAvD_BwE
Hi John. Mark from Eat Carbs Online shared you out. Headed your way and subscribed. I do similar things, especially with leftover MRE components sometime or just store bought heat and serve items.
That's a pretty cool little pistol. I don't have a single compact pistol. Damn RU-vid will use any excuse to take a few bucks on the content creators. Thanks for the video brother
5:33 Can't wait to get some of that Cock in my mouth! :D If someone made a shopping list with affiliate links for good stuff to put into an MRE I bet they would make a ton of money. That kind of convenience is worth it. I've got a very nice vacuum sealer and haven't used it in ages.
I have been thinking about getting one of the small like 4 piece fly rods that come with a carry case to use for like an inch bag. I've seen them setup with spinning reels and I figured that would be a portable option that might give me better results. From what I understand legally here I can have a cast net upto 4ft in diameter so I want to get one of those to add as well. But, due to legality of things that might not be a feasible option for all. I also like the idea of the hand reel. I would think gun oil might be a good option to keep the automatic ones functioning properly. Appreciate the exercise in thinking sir. Have a great rest of the week.
One thing I always add is some kind of bait. The last thing I want to do is run around looking for bait and expending 100 calories doing it, only to catch a fish that gives me 50 calories in return. That being said, even in a small Altoids tin kit, I take a drinking straw and fill it with 10 to 12 of those little Berkley Crappie Nibble Power baits and then seal up both ends of the straw. They catch just about any kind of fish in a survival type situation, and the shelf life is many years in that straw. I have some that are still soft when I squeeze the straw and they're well over 12 years old. Just a quick question, do you still have that MOAK survival kit/pack? I think it was the Mother Of All Kits you called it, but I can't remember. I'd love to see that old video again if you have it. Thanks, and keep up the great work.
That's a good idea. I have used some of the food I was already carrying in the past. Stuff like the mre bread, peanut butter, cheese, and stuff like that. The MOAK I no longer have, in fact, I haven't heard from the designer in over 6 years.
