Welcome to The Little Design Corner RU-vid Channel :)
👋🏻 I’m Clare, a designer, educator and Mum of 3 boys.
🤓 I have a PhD in business but left the corporate world 10 years ago to pursue my dreams of starting my own interior design business.
👩🏻🎓 I worked as a designer with clients 1:1 for about 6 years but started to get more and more questions about how I was running my business and creating my designs.
🚀 So I started creating online courses and templates for designers and architects who wanted to start, grow and scale their own profitable businesses.
🤑 And in 10 years I've gone from working for free for a few friends to creating a multi-million dollar a year online education business for designers.
☕️ I have taken a long and winding road to get to where I am today and on this channel I try to share helpful stuff so you can get there faster than I did!
Thank you for all your great content and templates. Is the 2024 goals notion template still available to purchase? I can’t seem to find it in your shop or maybe I missed it.
Thank you for your quick reply! When I click on the link in the description box it doesn’t lead to the specific notion productivity template from the video, it leads to all available templates. Is the goals template you are presenting in the video only available through the Complete Productivity System bundle that is shown? Sorry if I am not getting it ;)
You just need to increase your video resolution size - as long as your internet can support it. 1080p will give you the right resolution and it won't be blurry.
Thank you for the free value, I have subscribed. I am a new student of yours and I hope bingo helps me achieve my goals this year; I am starting in the middle of May.
what do you do if someone wants a particular piece of furniture but there are no models for it online, how do you 3d model that particular product for example a sofa, vase or cabinet handle etc
You can often find these elsewhere (e.g. Design Connected website or others similar to this) or you can just model your own furniture (or outsource this using a service like Fiverr). Lots of options! You can also often just cusomise pieces you can find in the 3DW and make them look the same as the piece from 'real life'.
@@ClareLeRoy ok great. I already have Sketch up Pro and have been self taught…I have no idea which course I need. I know a lot but I am really struggling with converting DWG files into a workable file.
Thank you Clare for everything you share and disseminate. Thanks to you I discovered NOTION and I am fascinated by its design and functionality. However, what attracts me most also worries me: the possibility of basing my entire organization and database on a single ONLINE tool. What way does NOTION offer to protect our information? What happens if I need to work offline? And if the platform disappears in a few months/years, how could I reorganize so much information? Isn't there a version that can be worked locally instead of online, that is, the information is stored on my computer? What type of backups do you make of all the information you have in NOTION?
I use Notion - that is built into my productivity system, which you can get in my shop - or you can also get it as a free standing product as well - shop.thelittledesigncorner.com/products/the-meal-planning-template-notion
No - for legal reasons I don't get involved in any orders with clients - this protects me from different aspects of that arrangement that I don't want to get involved with. I arrange the order with the supplier and then pass the invoice onto the client to pay and manage. I understand things work differently around the world - I'm in Australia and this was the way I chose to run my business. Designers do things in different ways
hi mam how are you iam aruna i like so much your working style and i love it renders all are done in sketchup only let mw how to do renders means output which software
Great information, does SketchUp show you how you could add wallcoverings to a space? if not, do you know of a software I can use to feature a downloaded photo and implement wall coverings, like wallpaper, to show my clients what it would like like in their space?
yes you can definitely add wallpaper and I teach you how to do that in my course - perhaps watch my free info session as a starting point as you'll learn a lot more about what's possible with sketchup that way and can see if it's a good fit for your needs - thelittledesigncorner.mykajabi.com/sketchup-information-session
Thanks, but I'm not looking for an illustrated visual. I'm looking more to download a photo of my room, and then impose wallpaper, so I could see what it looks like in my space, like wizart or roomvo software, but they are very expensive. Photoshop is time-consuming, so I was looking for an alternative.
Totally addicted to your systems now and excited to put more of them in place in my own life. Thank you for sharing your information so generously and honestly!
