No idea how yours topped out at 28mph. I’m 106kg/233lb so a heavy guy and I comfortably hit 30. Most I’ve got is 32 with a long straight. With some large urethane wheels and a 26t pulley it can hit over 40mph. Not that you need to go that quick of course.
Buyer Beware…RidePropel is as Shady as they get! @MikeMenard4543, it has been almost a full month since I received my Endeavor GT only to have it breakdown and die on me within 4.5 hours of riding. As you know I have reached out to you, only to have you reply that your short staffed. I no longer seem to be able to reply to you at all, as my replies go missing within 1 min of me posting them?! Your company even told me that I had to tear my board apart and play mechanic by replacing the FOC..which they told me they sent out. They didn’t even send me a diagram of what to do? And after 2 weeks of waiting for that FOC to arrive…after they guaranteed me they sent it out (from China of course) I requested a tracking # only to find out they never even sent it?! Then, last week they agreed to fully refund the entire board, but wanted “me” to pay for return shipping! WTF is that? Of course I refused to pay return shipping on this $2,000 paperweight and they argued that they cannot send me a return label because…why? Because they are based in China! Keep in mind, they have a UPS account, and the board would actually be shipping back to the same LA warehouse it shipped from. After refusing multiple times to pay for the return, they finally agreed (over a week ago) to sending me a UPS return label that will charge the shipping fee to Propel. I was supposed to receive that label via email within 24 hours…do you think I have? Do you think they are responding to me anymore at all? Every single time your company tells me they will do something they fail follow through at every level!. Your companies business practices are absolutely shameful! It’s sad, because I liked the product, and tried to work it out. But somehow I am the problem for spending my $ with your company!
Has any one tried using the sledge hammer battery and esc on ranger X3 or X5? Customer service says it’s not possible… if only you could have longer range on the X3 is all I am upset about because off road I am only getting 13 miles
Good review. I have the Flex Riot as a grocery getter and love it. I put softer wheels and it rides smoother (Boa 90mm Hatchlings). It's fun, responsive and a great carver. Plus, being relatively light makes it easy to carry when running errands or commuting. It's also very enjoyable when I need a break from my big board. Shop around as many shops are discounting it to make room for newer inventory. I got mine for around $330 shipped.
After 3 years ridding the X3 here is my best recommendation: if you are really into hub motor (I am) for the same price as the X5, get the X3 and replace the front wheels with pneumatics you can find on Trampa Board website. You will get a total beast for the price.
Wow pretty damn cool love today technology wouldn't even mind learning tricks on a electric Skateboard but even a regular Skateboard alone Is soooo fun & satisfying as fuck
You need to do a bi-annual one or quarterly "best" video. Already your top pick for budget long board is no longer viable and the video isnt even a month old. Hands down the best resource online for choosing a board. Keep up the good work.
Thoughts on "Linky 2.0: The World’s First Foldable Electric Longboard" currently on Kickstarter? (Google it) for around $1,000? Think this will be a good purchase? What do you think of specs/video ect? I like the foldable nature of it making it compact. On the fence to buy or not. This is their second release, they had 1.0 out like 4 years ago. The campaign ends in 3 days. Would appreciate your thoughts. Thanks!

Great review as always . This skateboard is what the Meebo city rider should have been plus the handle they abandoned that for some reason and made another belt driven board to shove it in their lineup
^ they also let you buy it and then wait till like a month later and then let you know that you can’t buy it, and then you have to go through the refund process, which is annoying
Hey man. I just had to go back to comment. Don't ever get yourself an meepo. I've ordered mine in March and I've had only excuses and lies to me that it would be shipped eventually. And it never shipped. I've had to cancel it after 2.5 months. I've even paid extra for fast shipping. Terrible terrible Company. You've been warned!!
I have a v1 that I rode to all its limits to a fault. I've smashed my dome into the pavement more times than I want to admit. Yes I had a helmet but with scrapes and scars to prove. Meepos are awesome boards. I was looking at the new rounds. The 3s looks enticing.
As a new guy i like how the video tell me a specific thing about electric skateboard. I can learn a new information about that. Good video👍 Keep going the best video about electric skateboard💪💪💪 Maybe for the next video you can share about electric Onewheel or electric unicycle. Or something you can know about part off electric skateboard It's a good thing were can learning about that Done subscribe your RU-vid channel ✌️✌️✌️
Are the belts married to the wheels by chance? I’m planning on buying this and using off road bigger tires and using riser pads to have clearance. I live around terrible roads and huge bumps and cracks where I ride. Thanks!
@@Jpperera1 Definitely use footstraps. I've got some heel straps as well but haven't got around to fitting them yet (long story). I think the heel straps will add more control. I had issues with the battery case. Two of the hold down tabs ended up breaking off. Back and forth emails to Ecomobl (slow going) and they offered replacement case but I had to pay the freight. Because I reckon it's a design flaw I opted to design a strap tie down method of my own. Will do a video on this at a later date. If you want to hit top speeds tighten the springs down, and perhaps use the green springs (stronger). As far as any electrical or gear mods that's out of my league atm. If you want to see how it handles check out my channel to see my adventures so far. Ride safe but ride hard. : )
