Backfire Zealot V is different. It is not a longboard, not a shortboard, but an electric longboard that's... short?

If the lights aren't a need I think the Tynee mini 3 or Ultra is a better buy, especially with the longer range, app, and brake lights. The backfire design is definitely more sexy.

*The 33inch size would be better utilised with a kicktail/cruiser shape for a wider stance* 🤙🏼⚡⚡🤙🏼 Still a good board nonetheless but I'd go with a Tynee board too, better value, great service and bigger batteries. Great review. 👌🏼

It's nice looking but I don't understand this board either. Any board with below 15 miles of real world range should really be hub motors in my opinion and be able to free spin so you can kick push it. I personally have a bustinboard hybrid v3 that I kick push around town and use the throttle when ever I'm going uphill or feeling lazy. I'm still able to get about 18 miles of real world range out of it and I weigh 180lbs. Being able to kick push on a board with smaller battery is nice since I can still get back even if I run out of battery. I also have an electric mountain board that I get about 35-45miles of range with depending on inclines and how fast I'm going. If I'm blasting it around 35mph then it's closer to 25 miles of range. The Zealot V doesn't really satisfy any of these things because the real world range is under 10 miles and it doesn't free roll

Paxson Lim Your statement about the ESC brand is incorrect and misleading. New Backfire Skateboards have the latest custom proprietary Backfire ESC. The Zealot S2, S2E, Zealot X and Zealot V, G5 and G5s, ERA2 and ERA3 all use a new custom Backfire ESC that is NOT manufactured by Rydtech for Hobbywing or Lingyi. The R5 remote is programmed for the new Backfire ESC and is not backward compatible with any Hobbywing product. The smooth operation of the new remote / ESC combo is the outcome of a long in-house development program to obtain superior product quality, control and secure intellectual property. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-jGdMZZKat3o.html&ab_channel=METASURF
