Just on holiday here at the moment. We're in a gold caravan which is so comfy! Loving our holiday; the activities are great and it's our first time here and we are really enjoying exploring what this area has to offer. Only annoying thing is that the WiFi is pretty rubbish.... fortunately we brought plenty of dvds to keep us entertained. But all in all an amazing place... the waterpark is great and we love being so close to the beach
Also, we went to the local town Pwllheli on our first day ; there is an Asda as well as Iceland, lidl, home bargains and b&m so you can stock up on food for cheaper than getting stuff from the on site mini market
Just to give you the heads up, I've come back yesterday, and it was a nightmare !. Even for a 'solo traveller'. 5 checks, No USB chargers, No seating, Food was extortionate price 7 euros for a powerade,! 20Euros for subway !, Gate 208a is holding room for Brits!, No Free Wifi! No Jetty to aeroplane ! Perhaps the only good thing was the staff, trying to do the best. But be ready to wait in queues.....No online check in. The lounge areas is not worth it. My advice would be to go all the way down and find a seat in the flights to Russia, as hardly anyone waiting plus a lot more decorum...

You were lucky. As i queued for 2hrs on the 30.08.24 leaving the Faro airport. Absolutely no need for it. Will never travel there again,nor would i recommend it. Which is a shame as the people were lovely.
We have been to marton mere a few times and enjoy it every time... It's brilliant for the camp and going into Blackpool... We also had a week in Wales to the old Butlins camp and boy what on earth have they done to it.. as Butlins it was the best holiday.. now it's the pits... Marton mere is the best caravan holiday yet.. recommend it.
@DeeDee-eu7vi good but be armed with cash. No drinks or food allowed meals are very expensive... but it was a great. Just have to be mindful it won't be cheap xxx
I've been going since 2003 and love the Matina. Pefki has changed over the years, and it's not like our little piece of paradise it once was. 😢. It's getting to commercial now so i tend to go in May and October when it's quieter.
I wouldn’t bother having a meal at the Wetherspoons it might have been a off day we were there was flys on the food wouldn’t be in a rush to go back that’s for sure.
I was surprised how bad the food is when I was there, I had a burger and the bun was hard and the burger tasted like something you'd find in the freezer section at ASDA lol
Lovely little airport. Staff helpful and friendly. Quick through security. Only down side, it took nearly 2 hours of waiting for luggage, on way back into country.
Watching this an hour before we leave to go to Land of Legends... hours of researching and this was the absolute best and informative thing out there!! Thanks so much!!
