I had feared you “sold out” to advertise this camera, I’m glad that you’ve stuck to your morals & given us an honest assessment of the product. Cheers mate! PS: your new hairstyle has you looking buff bro!
"God and anime on your side at that point" hol up, I don't see any Truck-kun nearby. With descending the hill, one thing you have to consider is if the ABS is working for you or against you. But this bike just isn't made for bombing down hills.
Great vid, great bike. but I worry about your long term health with that diet. I used to use a similar Chinese motorbike with the same type of back rack in asia to carry goods and I put a big bamboo basket on the back that would fit about twice as much as your milk crate. You could have put the toilet paper on top and you still have space up front between your legs. If you live in Asia you will see the most amazing loads carried on a scooter. One of the most amazing I have seen is that people would smuggle the scooters into Myanmar one at a time with a scooter sitting crosswise across the back of the scooter they were riding and take them from Muse Chinese border to Mandalay 538 kms one way. One at a time just to make $20 and not pay import duties. Here are some ideas.... ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE--dp4qUt_ZDc.html
It has a clutch..per se. just don't release the peddle when down shifting, rev up, and then release. it operates like a hand clutch. But yeah..hand clutch would be way better
a GIRL stopped me at the market to tell me it was a CUTE bike... ( the trail 125 of course ! ) :) the only downside i have experienced so far was its easy to crash ( when you arent paying attention but thats any cycle... ) and the parts are NOT cheap if even available. the good part of that tho is you get to upgrade to better stuff !
Grab another case...cut it off just above the bottom...drill a few holes, a few wire ties and a lock, and BOOM, you have a semi-secure lid for your 'top box'
Retired nurse here. I own a ‘23 Trail 125 and 1971 C70 Passport. I like you wish the top speed was a bit higher on the Trail, but making it significantly faster is very expensive and very involved. But the bike is fun any way, I put mine on a rack sometimes and haul it where I’m going. I know that defeats some of the purpose but freeway is definitely a no no and highways are sketchy. Good luck in your endeavors!
I LOVE riding tubeless tires! Plug a nail hole and back on the road in minutes. Plus, in the thorny dessert you can add sealant. BIG plus for the Monkey. I have also heard complaints of the rear tire skidding when downshifting the "automatic trans" on the Trail. Here is a video of my Papio (Grom clone) riding Onion Creek, offroad outside Moab, Utah: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-xcUd88QC-dw.htmlsi=rGq3ktvlSDpDhs_W
I have the same bike, just 2021. I love it. I had a trail 70 when I was in college and it got stolen. When this thing came out I had to have one so I finally got one in 2022. I like looking at it almost as much as riding it. I am 51, I'm planning on keeping this thing until they put me away.
I'm enjoying my 125 trail.. It's very slow.. in I big guy. 280#.. it's NOT a hiway bike. So I'm gearing mine down 13/45 put on some knobby tires . And ride it like it was ment to be.. a trail bike.
terrible video. why would anyone watch a video shot with Nauseacam of the front tip of a bike riding around on roads with a guy talking over the sound of engine, wind, etc., while just stating the Obvious?? People have become so dumb, and/or bored with their lives that they will sit in front of their computer watching a road, instead of actually doing something... like going for a ride. There are decent videos (VERY FEW) here that are watchable. They Japanese kid who takes his Monkey to go solo camping in Japan for instance. No yapping, no stupid music. Not trying to sell you something and not just telling you what you already know about things like Honda motorcycles. If you don't already know that Honda produts are well worth it, you're hopeless.
I ordered one and it took 6 months to get< MSRP and close to my home, SO what did I do while waiting? Rode my 2019 Honda CRF1000L manual Africa Twin another 10K ,,,,,,, 😂
