Hi Digger, I was hoping for a comment about the buildings from you. The derailment only happened because my tunnel is just loose stacked bits of foam and they shift about. There won't be a problem once I complete the tunnel construction

Hi Nancy. It turned out to be only one five car set that derailed. All fixed and running fine now. I wish I had recorded the whole train and got a count of the tank cars, I always think of you when I see a tank train, you would have loved it.
Hello Andy, yes, the derailments are often in hard to reach places but this is not too bad. The Didsbury area is great for pictures of the prairie landscape and a beautiful small town. Cheers, David.
I don't think it was more than two minutes after I left your home that I was trackside catching that oil train, lucky on that one. I guess that if you are living there those buildings are just everyday things but through my eyes they looked like the Walthers kit buildings. Cheers Ray, David.
Hi Anthony. Well, if Walthers didn't go to Didsbury maybe they should. There are some great buildings there. We have a lot of KCS locos around, the CP ones must be working in the states and Mexico. Cheers, David.
Hi David, I decided that tunnels, although they look great when done right, aren't for me. My cranes always seem to have trouble going through them. Those buildings do look like the Walthers models. They have a lot of character too. On a side note, i have never had a loco or rolling stock that was poor in quality. Steven.
Hi Steven. The only problem with my tunnel is that t is just taking me too long to properly build it. Those bit of foam bord stacked randomly tend to shift and that is what has happened. It's not really a problem, I just need to get it built. Glad you agree with me on the buildings. Every loco or piece of rolling stock has its charm and value. Cheers, David.

Good morning Sparky. We are well thank you and trust that all of you are well too. I cut out so much of that oil train and yet it seemed like it would never end. I shall have to return and spend a couple of days there and get a real feel for the Edmonton-Calgary traffic. Again, a little more time and I could find many more "Walthers" buildings I'm sure.

Hi Steve, I'm doing pretty well thank you. (planning a trip to Anoraks in Doncaster.) Hope you are well too. There must be thousands of towns scattered across the US, Mexico and Canada with "Walthers" buildings like that but to me Didsbury seems unique. The issue with my containers and tunnel was not unexpected and easy to fix. I may see you soon, David.
Hi Mon. The tunnel is a work in progress albeit slow progress. When complete it will have good access but for now it's just the random foam blocks. I'm pretty certain that I cut out 1/2 of the oil tank cars from that train. There are no mountains or major hills between Edmonton and Calgary so very long trains are quite possible. Cheers, David.

Ok so now the question is how does not one but two cows 🐄🐄 get to the top of a building!!!! maybe perhaps a ufo 🛸👽 beamed them up then put them down on top of the building hmmmm its a mystery for sure!!! love the layout! Thanks for sharing!! have a great rest of the week!

Hi Ray, I hope that is just the first visit. I meant to say that it is a work in progress but all layouts are that way really. I did manage to see a train after I left but I was poorly positioned to include the station in my video.

You wouldn't believe the money CN locos attract down here. Especially the Triang versions. They are quite popular. Steven.
Hi Steven, Ray and his wife have a lovely spot to live the dream and this layout is the cream for Ray. I'm with you on seeing locos I'm not familiar with and Ray certainly has a few of those.
