This Channel is where I want to help teach and inspire people through martial arts. I know I might not be the greatest instructor or performer, but if the videos can help one person in this world, I did my job. Please enjoy and support this channel!!!
2 things you can improve...your disclaimer was 40 seconds long, no one else does that, not necessary. And the background music was too loud, making your masked voice hard to hear. You don't need background music at all
I have a personal way of counter attacking that requires skill, practice, timing, and strength. The position might give it away that it’s a “punch and you’re dead” stance, but it’s still very effective against those who just throw punches without thinking. STANCE: The stance for it is very awkward and needs video explanation but keep 2 main things in mind, back kind of hunched for one method (this only applies to method one which will be explained later) and one arm behind the other kind of like you’ve grabbed your opponent by the shoulder and are about to throw a punch. METHOD ONE: I call this one the “tableflip” and is performed by grabbing the arm they are using to attempt to punch you, put your lower arm under their armpit, and pull them to a comfortable spot to do the next step. Flip them over on their back and you’ve won. METHOD TWO: I call this one “back breaker” (plot twist it don’t break backs 😔) Jokes aside, it’s very similar to the last one but it consists of restraining your opponent like you’re handcuffing them and then kicking or punching their back so they fall over. Another easy counter. EDIT: don’t hit them too hard on method two or you might actually make the name what it does
Started tkd a couple months ago, so this is really useful cause many times it's hard to know how to respond to certain attacks, especially to more advanced kicks when I'm put up against an advanced belt peer. Thanks!
I did a bit of training, and I found a nice counter (imo). You block, then quickly follow up with a spinning back kick. It can be done in less than 2 seconds.
