Depends. If you like to race the car up and down the mountain then it isn't that much of a deal. After all it isn't really a big distance. It's photo stops that take most time of course. To give an idea: I was there by noon, while I left Tbilisi at dawn. 7:30 am maybe?

Sad to know that neocons like Applebaum are the ones in charge of foreign policy decisions, while brilliant people like Cohen are the ones who are only heard when the mess explodes in the face. Anne Applebaum is simply lying, how she can say the it was central Europeans who wanted to be part of the NATO? There was no referendum in our country on that matter. And the decision to join NATO came from few politicians before early elections in 1998, because the Czech government was in dissarray.
Was there a referendum about the Czech and Slovak split and do you deem that undemocratic and something that should be reverted or was not supported by the population, or in any other way unconstitutional or something that the population didn't agree with at the time? Every member state of NATO joined completely voluntarily and was not forced or blackmailed by any external forces to do so.

Anne says the US was "drawing down its forces in Europe," but Putin didn't miss what the US was doing in Syria, Libya and Iraq, or the growing pressure on Iran and China.
