I am playing on TCG Live and building this in real life. When I get well, I am going to locals and give it a go. I am still fairly new. I struggle with not putting all my eggs in 1 basket. Any advice for this pokemon dad?
Not really, you can use mew ex to copy walls like mimikyu or cornerstone mask. You don’t want to put in a basic dragon if you don’t have to because you really don’t want to start with it.
@@takeovereagle3937 the problem with mew ex is that is also a 3 energy atacker and if mimikyu has mist you get to do 0 dmg to it and insta loose to the MU, I guess you have to commit some resources since the list is already so tight
This reminds me a bit of Mewtwo & Mew tag team and I LOVED that deck it got me 399 points from august to march on 2019 for my qualification to worlds in London... BUT pandemic :(
I LOVE Snorlax stall. Control decks in the format are actually super fun. I'd release a video on control, but I feel like it's a bit involved. I'd need to script it way more. Maybe it'll go on the pile for an upcoming video.
@@Voiddyn-Pokemon it’s my favorite deck It’s so interesting and complex to play but with little interaction, I find it refreshing vs the other archetypes. Ofcourse people at locals hate when I go 4-0 😂
My test group played over 100 test games this passed weekend and this Xatu list with rotom is NOT that good. It’s slow and hits for only 200 after you get through the slow set up . It auto loses to blissey ex (which IS a real deck), c pao, miradon and Lugia I actually still think charizard will be best in the meta STILL after this set comes out. It also has issues getting through gardevoir once they have munkidori going.
All i need is the Dragapult line, the unfair stamp, and radiant alakazam. might consider playing other ace spec alternatives to stamp like counter catcher to gust or maximum belt for extra damage on oppsing ex. Deck looks solid. I wiil eventually just drop my charizard deck for this.
@Voiddyn-Pokemon there is much versatility with ace specs, they can quickly change the game in your favor if played accordingly. I'm glad they brought them back. Just wish prices weren't so jacked up for the good ones which is why I might go for the maximum belt. I shall test it once it comes out for ptcgl and then make a decision on which one to add to my physical deck.
I really wanted to play this deck cuz dragapult is one of my fav pokemon but I have to say im more directed to raging bolt ex since its a big basic that hits hard and I love those type of decks
Both look fantastic! I know my buds are playing them as well and making videos on them too, so I figured I'd try something a bit different! If the Regidrago build pops off I'll make a video on it soon.
I would suggest buying cards directly from sites like TCGPlayer, CoolStuffInc and Kayfabecards. Buying product is never really an affordable way to build decks. Also, the new list for Charizard will look something like this, this video is for the old rotation 👍 Pokémon: 19 3 Charmander PAF 7 1 Charmander OBF 26 1 Charmeleon PAF 8 3 Charizard ex PAF 54 2 Pidgey MEW 16 2 Pidgeot ex OBF 164 1 Bidoof CRZ 111 1 Bibarel BRS 121 1 Radiant Charizard CRZ 20 1 Rotom V CRZ 45 1 Lumineon V BRS 40 1 Cleffa OBF 80 1 Manaphy BRS 41 Trainer: 35 3 Arven OBF 186 3 Iono PAF 80 2 Boss's Orders PAL 172 2 Professor Turo's Scenario PAR 171 1 Roxanne ASR 150 4 Rare Candy PAF 89 4 Ultra Ball PAF 91 4 Buddy-Buddy Poffin TEF 144 2 Super Rod PAL 188 1 Nest Ball PAF 84 1 Prime Catcher TEF 157 1 Counter Catcher PAR 160 1 Lost Vacuum CRZ 135 1 Pal Pad SVI 182 1 Forest Seal Stone SIT 156 1 Technical Machine: Devolution PAR 177 1 Defiance Band SVI 169 1 Vitality Band SVI 197 1 Collapsed Stadium BRS 137 Energy: 6 6 Fire Energy 2
I'm new in Pokemon TCG and I play Yu-Gi-Oh but gotta say it sucks that I have to buy always a new card in order to play the standard format I get it's good to bring new players but definitely it's a down breaker for me 😢
I know it stinks to get into the standard format. Have you tried playing online? Pokémon TCG Live is a very user friendly way to play that will allow you to make a ton of decks, if you play you’ll get tons of stuff for free!
Unfortunately I haven’t really looked at Torterra ex, but my buddies over at The Shuffle Squad have! You can check out their list here: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-7W2zzyqtclE.htmlsi=54XmR3nKDvVrOZMr

bro thats amazing ,😍 i wonder how to play this game ! i downloaded it from play sotre and tried to make an account but always blocked by pokemon website saying that access is denied ! is it limited to some countries ! i am in africa now 💭😵💫
@@Voiddyn-Pokemon thx it worked now. I am level 1 any recommendations on opening packs as beginner ? What do i aim for as F2P? What's the meta now for f2p any ideas plz 💡
I'm confused. Doesn't Iron Leaves get hit FOR weakness from Zard? It would hit Roaring Moon for weakness though. Either way I've wanted to try this deck for a bit maybe this is a sign to go for it 😁
@@Voiddyn-Pokemon well heck, so it is. I just got back into playing a few months ago and somehow never noticed this. My brain was just always Charizard = fire.
@@Botanist3 Not a problem! Totally understand how it can be confusing, especially since there is even a Fire Charizard ex. Never feel bad about not knowing things, since you can always learn something new!
@@Voiddyn-Pokemon No problem, definitely giving you a shout out in my next video! Im not big or anything but i hope it helps more people see your stuff.
@@Voiddyn-Pokemon no problem at all! Just keep up the great work! Would be down to do some content together in the future if you want! Just let me know
I've been getting back to TCG after playing TCGO two years back and in person tournaments back in 2009 or so. Your videos are great at explaining things to new and returning players. Keep up the good work!
Welcome back to the game! Glad you're finally getting back into the game, it's changed so much since '09. My wife played a bunch back then too. Hopefully the transition isn't that jarring for you and you find a deck to love!
A new Gardevoir Guide might be useful, considering that I’ve been tinkering around with using a combination of Gardevoir EX and Iron Valiant. Would love to see what you come up with!
