I saw the video then, my sorry, but i didnt see anything bad about your head. People are really silly, gosh!!! By the way, you look beautiful when bald, you have a nice head shape and all it gives is African Queen with those pairs of native ear rings and necklaces. It obvious people only move around with aim of finding faults in their fellow human and try to make them feel terrible. What a shame. Sorry you had to face that.... Over here i have been constantly body shamed. Almost all the features in my body has been shamed. My butt being flat, my lips been big, my eyes been small, my nose been flat, my head been big 😂 what part of ny body exactly has not been shamed. I cant continue but it is well😅❤

My scalp has been stressed these passed two days I'm taking a 7 weeks break with only puff puff as hairstyle ... i had a lot of shedding and a itchy painful scalp 😢... I'm also starting a vitamin d3 and b journey ... do you take supplement too ? Great video
Sorry about that. I'm currently only taking a syrup that contains iron,zinc,B12 and folate. I also take b complex first thing in the morning. I want to go run some tests,before taking any more indepth medication

@@maychukwuma8690 i just had to. sorry about your hair. Since its breakage,it could've been fix by just a trim,protein treatment or moisture. But its okay,starting afresh allows you to know your hair better. Cheers 🥂
@@natura__essie I did same last two months but I didn’t feel confident going out with them. How do you wear them out? And also how would you maintain them; would you wash them? Mine began to unravel when I washed them😢
@@AbigailRuthWenchie no i didn't wash them. My hair is still short and the ends are kinda blunt,so it will definitely unravel. I wore them for 10 days, before I took it down,cos I wore them to work.
I'm confused. Are you seeing excessive shedding or are you seeing excessive breakage because you use the term shedding but there are no bald spots. And then you use a remedy that would help shedding because of it's ability to block DHT (tea rinses). But DHT has nothing to do with breakage so I'm confused. Trimming or cutting your hair would help with excessive breakage but not help with excessive shedding. I don't understand why these terms are used interchangeably in our community. It's very confusing because they mean two vastly completely different things. Edit: Okay, so it seems like you know the difference but I still don't understand why you think you had excessive shedding if you didn't have bald spots. If your hair was truly shedding too much you would literally have bald spots. So I don't understand what made you think it was excessive or why you thought that cutting off your hair was the proper move? Just continue to take care of it. Also it's scientifically proven that in certain seasons I believe it is, hair sheds more.

Where was it written that you'd necessarily experience balding with telogen effluvium? A literal temporary hair loss? When I'm not suffering from severe cases like androgenic alopecia, alopecia areata or CA? The thinning,the hair falls, the wide parts,the scalp visibility I experienced... they're not signs of excessive shedding,until i have a bald spot? Do you know my hair more than I do? I even experienced loss of density from this whole thing,my ends were so thin that I was frequently asked if I had them relaxed. Please,do not come here and lecture me.
Hello Essie: Hang in there🥰. I'm recovering from hair loss myself. What's is helping me is daily massage with water based serum, vitamin/mineral supplements, including Vitamin D & iron ( if you don't eat red meat), exercise 3 or more days per week, green juicing, increase water intake, supplements for stress like ashwaghanda, red light therapy ( got mine from IRestore. Expensive but worth it). It took a year of constantly doing all the above & I'm finally seeing results.
I was about to comment on supplements and foods that will help your interal when you mentioned your immune system. It seems you’re doing everything to keep your hair healthy/moisturized, but sometimes your internal health could be a factor in heavy shedding. I’m currently growing out my hair and chopping the relaxed ends off until they’re all gone, but I have noticed when doing mini twists and braids that the ends are soo thin. Wishing you healthy growth internally and externally. ❤
@@michelleumunna You have two textured on your head. the thin part from the mini twists or braids is just basically your relaxed texture. It's nothing to fret! Thank you 😊
@@gabizn4 you'll have to consider these factors; Length,Size of twists, Density,Speed (how fast is the person)? So,it didn't take me up to 3hrs. Can't really remember
