This video is short, and that's because I do not want to make it an emotional one or go into more details about my mental health. I hope you respect my decision. Thank you 😊 I installed mini braids on my new big chop, kindly check it out > ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-2s3rA3rsGsU.htmlsi=6xEWClhoM6W-Kn4z
Chopping your hair because of depression won't solve nothing dear. Have you pray and pray and pray to your father. Please do that. I pray you come out of whatever you passing through
I saw a video on a girl who reverse alopecia. She focused on no carbs/sugars in diet and a lot of greens and protein rich food; taking prenatal vitamins and probiotics; scalp massages with herbal oil; on time moisturizing; exercise. I also experienced a lot of shedding after having c19, so for 3 months I took multivitamins, zinc/selenium, biotin, d3 daily; low manipulation styles; biweekly washing and deep conditioning with ayurvedic herbs; moisturizing every 2-3 days with herbal tea, aloe vera/leave in and herbal oil. You have to go heavy on dht blockers in your DIYs as this is the hormone that makes hair fall out: black/green tea, nettle, coffee, burdock root, ashwaganda, saw palmetto. Also fenegreek, moringa, cloves, blackseeds, onion, ginger, mint and rosemary that stimulate hair growth and blood circulation in the scalp. GOOD LUCK ❤!
@@jk9084 the shedding I'm experiencing is a temporary hair shed, telogen effluvium. It's temporary, but will persist if the actual trigger is not identified. For me,it's more on stress (mental stress)...on the other hand,I'm definitely working on eating a lot healthier. Thanks for sharing 😊
Let your hair grow Life happens , sometimes you'll get stress or maybe sick ( hope you're okay❤) your hair will thin out and sometimes it's going to look the best it has ever been it's a journey if you keep cutting it every time you won't reach your goals , when your hair is shedding a lot put it in braid and let it be don't over manipulate and try to take some vitamins You can do it Essie❤
@@Beyourbestversion65 its easier said, but it's not really about the shedding. And I want to believe you have been following my contents to know I do not manipulate my hair. The stress that comes from you knowing your hair is falling out, that's it. But, thank you 😊
I was about to comment on supplements and foods that will help your interal when you mentioned your immune system. It seems you’re doing everything to keep your hair healthy/moisturized, but sometimes your internal health could be a factor in heavy shedding. I’m currently growing out my hair and chopping the relaxed ends off until they’re all gone, but I have noticed when doing mini twists and braids that the ends are soo thin. Wishing you healthy growth internally and externally. ❤
@@michelleumunna You have two textured on your head. the thin part from the mini twists or braids is just basically your relaxed texture. It's nothing to fret! Thank you 😊
Hello Essie: Hang in there🥰. I'm recovering from hair loss myself. What's is helping me is daily massage with water based serum, vitamin/mineral supplements, including Vitamin D & iron ( if you don't eat red meat), exercise 3 or more days per week, green juicing, increase water intake, supplements for stress like ashwaghanda, red light therapy ( got mine from IRestore. Expensive but worth it). It took a year of constantly doing all the above & I'm finally seeing results.
I'll be praying for you! You look great as always. I'm under alot of stress and dealing with auto immune illness. My hair has fallen out in the middle and my front. I'm highly depressed because it take awhile for my hair to grow and it was finally to my shoulders. I want to shave it off or perm it but my family says to keep it as is. But anyways I'll be praying for you and it'll get better! In Jesus name Amen x3!!❤
@@sircw-js6ny no no don't perm it please. You can either shave it or let it grow in its own pace. Dealing with hairloss is a lot. I pray and hope you get better 🙏🏾❤️
@@maychukwuma8690 i just had to. sorry about your hair. Since its breakage,it could've been fix by just a trim, protein treatment or moisture. But its okay, starting afresh allows you to know your hair better. Cheers 🥂

I'm confused. Are you seeing excessive shedding or are you seeing excessive breakage because you use the term shedding but there are no bald spots. And then you use a remedy that would help shedding because of it's ability to block DHT (tea rinses). But DHT has nothing to do with breakage so I'm confused. Trimming or cutting your hair would help with excessive breakage but not help with excessive shedding. I don't understand why these terms are used interchangeably in our community. It's very confusing because they mean two vastly completely different things. Edit: Okay, so it seems like you know the difference but I still don't understand why you think you had excessive shedding if you didn't have bald spots. If your hair was truly shedding too much you would literally have bald spots. So I don't understand what made you think it was excessive or why you thought that cutting off your hair was the proper move? Just continue to take care of it. Also it's scientifically proven that in certain seasons I believe it is, hair sheds more.
@@LethalLemonLime And I don't understand why you think I didn't experience excessive shedding because I had no bald spot. Where was it written that you'd necessarily experience balding with telogen effluvium? A literal temporary hair loss? When I'm not suffering from severe cases like androgenic alopecia, alopecia areata or CA? The thinning, the hair falls, the wide parts, the scalp visibility I experienced... they're not signs of excessive shedding, until i have a bald spot? Do you know my hair more than I do? I even experienced loss of density from this whole thing,my ends were so thin that I was frequently asked if I had them relaxed. Please,do not come here and lecture me.
