What I find interesting about the response - cause argument is that many people stop at the best solution for that. For example "How did life on earth start?". For some people it as easy as saying "It was brought here by a meteore! So it's panspermia." yet that answere completly diregarts how life started in the firstplace. Even if life was brought here by a meteor then how did it start there or how on the planet the meteor was from? Even if there were 1 billion planets inbetween that each inoculated eachother with life by cause of panspermia you would still be able to go back and find the very beginning where life must have started from nothing. Same can be said about the universe. Even if we found out that all of this was a simulation and I was nothing more then code on a large computer then I could still ask how the world/universe becun where said computer is standing. Then it would turn out that that world is also simulated and we were on the 10 billionth level of simulation inside of 10 billion simulations. If you pulled back all those layers what would you be left with? The real word, that must have started somehow. Even if the universe is infinte and always creating itself by itself then still how did this cycle start? We are not talking about "What happens before a movie started" we are trying to figure out reality itself. This isn't something abstract, this is everything there is and ever will be. If there are almost infinite multiverses every single one ever so slightly diffrent then I'd ask why that is so and what force is creating universes where for example the 1000th number in the gravitationsconstant is changed? Can everything we know and don't know of be random? On the other hand why should an eternal being like god even care about us? If our estimates are correct then there are so many lifeforms out there that one single thing we did would be less then noticable to god as a fly flap its wings a somewhere in a remote place on earth to us right now. Even if our actions was directly linked to it's creation, by throwing out some trash for example...

I'm 41 have adhd ,. The fallout of C19 has left the drug industry in shambles. Manufacturers of my Adderall got switched. TLDR. My pink teva football shaped Addy got replaced by white stop sign mallinkrodt Addy in January.. In March I had a mild stroke from it. And it ruined my GD life. Never have I felt like such a broken cog than when I'm faced with the possibility that I may no longer be able to take my meds that help me function. I was an epsilon, who fought her way to beta . Found a wonderful career. And now thanks to the very drug that I needed to be able to function like a good Lil cog .. broke me.. I am besides myself And have a therapist, neurologist, pcp,. Life coach and my friends around me who's helped me . I say this so that way if others are going thru this. Your not alone. * I have absolutely zero family support. As they belive that mental health is all a lie . And every one who's faced PTSD from war or trauma are just a bunch of tiddy babies and thought the cure for my autism / adhd was a belt or backhand . It's hard. It hurts .. Your not alone
