the conquistadors were not spanish "colonizers". pilaging and conqueroring is NOT colonizing. not gonna play opart in this modern day demonization of colonizing. colonizing is when you move some where new and live there , start crops and stay for the long haul .. the conquistadors were only there for one thing... to take gold and what ever other riches the new world offereed and take them back home. stop conflating them with colonizers.
