Cop made no defaming remarks, nor any assumptions as the driver, having the ability to respond, refused to answer. The cop was not a tryant, it was the driver who turned left without coming to a complete stop. The driver was an idiot due to his poor driving habits, yet the officer gave him a break by not citing him and got away with only a warning.
Evidently this driver is guilty of something or he would just answer these simple questions. Quit being an ass. Someday, you may need that officers help.
I respect your opinion. When 90% of the people allow the cops to exceed their legal authority they tend to think they have increased legal authority. I challenged his authority and he backed off because he exceeded it. It was that simple. If i saw him in a bar i'd probably buy him a drink. If he arrested me for not answering a question, i would not want his help. I answered the question. You call me an ass, another may call it a civic duty. Take care.
I did not think he met the criteria to get slammed with calls and complaints. He pushed to get me to violate my rights but backed off when i did not budge. I give more detail in the pinned comment if you want to read it. I would have gone to jail if he pushed the issue( and kept my same quiet demeanor). No point arguing during the stop imo.
I don’t know and maybe I’ll get chewed out but I think that officer did a great job. He was polite courteous he warned him. That is just a warning. I just need your information. We’ll get you on your way. That’s the kind of officer. I wanna meet every day if I get pulled over for speeding every dayto the man give that officer some credit
I am in the middle of this debate. Some might say i was the snippy one. We need good cops. We don't know if they are good cops till you test them by holding firm on things they have no legal authority to have you do. They need to understand what their authority is and is not. When he said i had to answer the question about my address being current he was wrong. I had no legal authority to answer. The reason i am in the middle is that he made the threat/lie but backed off. I assume he knew he was overstepping his authority.
It so funny how they ask where u work at now days I’m like who is this guy had a state trooper ask me that young one tho funny looking dude 😂 u handle that well

Hey my friend, PLEASE make it a habit to post the name of the city ..... county..... And state! So we all can send them our comments a long with your video, And that means more people will click on your videos! And that means more money for you!!!!
The only reason they ask continuous questions is their fishing for something else. He already told you he was going to just give you a warning really there’s no reason to write it out on a piece of paper. He should’ve just let you go. They want you to answer their questions because they’re fishing for something else that you might accidentally mistakenly give them the wrong answer and then they’re gonna charge you with lying to a police officer and that’s a felony. when we tell law-enforcement that the Supreme Court has instructed citizens to never answer questions from law-enforcement, they get butt hurt. In the mind of the law enforcement officer they believe that anything they tell us to do is a lawful order which is a lie they believe that if they ask us a question, we have to answer their questions or they will threaten with obstructing they know damn well that obstructing is a physical act and you talking or not talking that is not obstructing. They use that and they claim that if they don’t stop, they will be arrested for obstruction. They do arrest auditors and cops watchers simply for filming, and they will write them up with the charge of obstruction. Once again that is not obstruction obstruction is a physical act. It’s not words and it’s not a camera. Law-enforcement officers are just so sensitive that if you do not immediately comply with any order, they bark or answer any question that they ask then they become defensive they bully, harass, intimidate, and use excessive force to arrest the individual because their bads got hurt. That’s how law enforcement justifies excessive force by making the statement.” IF THEY HAD JUST COMPLIED.” then they wouldn’t have had to use successive force. First of all they need to abolish qualify immunity so officers will be held personally liable when they violate citizens rights or when they commit a felony against the citizen. Law-enforcement officers commit the sieve, rights, violations, and felonies against citizens because they know they will not be personally liable. The taxpayer will be paying when there is a lawsuit. They need to pass legislation that law-enforcement personally liable.
Wow im amazed at the idiots comments on here that cop was nothing but polite he even told him if everything checks out he was good to go he was only getting a warning while the cop had every right to ticket him especially with a expired insurance card and you all crying about his attitude?? He was much nicer then i would have been this turd was getting off easy and was still being disrespectful to the cop you must all be a bunch of thugs on here defending this Punks actions its people like you that are responsible for the rising crime in this country and why cops no longer care about enforcing the laws
Hold up, what does uour employment has to do with a traffic stop? Man just give the ticket or warning to the person and be on with your day. Like i don't understand why cops be doing this dumb shit!
Lol. I wish i had noticed and complimented him on his gang tatts. I looked over once. I kept my head looking forward which he did not like. He could not see my eyes
Difficult how? Sounds like the man sped up the whole process by keeping the talking to a minimum. Why does the cop take it so personally? Just say OK, hand him the warning and get back to your patrol. It’s called professionalism and respect for constitutional rights.
You have to carry proof of insurance for a law written before computer databases made that information 100% accessible 24/7 but we all recognize the attitude coming from the officer over what he calls an improper stop. A stop that resulted in no accidents or issues. And a stop that he would also call improper if it was fully done but he needed an excuse to pull this guy over.
@@johnpower8356 you know how you wish you would have done something different? I wish i had said " would you like me to step out of the car so you can arrest me for not answering a question"
Do we pay cops to have attitude? I mean McDonald's pay their employees to be polite. Pretty much every corporation I can think of pays their employees to behave professionally and courteously towards the public. Do we pay our officers to take a dump on citizens if the officer is having a bad day? Is that part of the job description? Because I'm pretty sure every police force on Earth some kind of mission statement saying Serve and Protect courtesy stuff like that.
Have you ever watched the movie The Transformers? They had it right. On the side of the cop car in that movie the motto is “To Punish and Enslave”. That’s more along the lines of the training at piggy school!
