Video idea: It’s not USL but this situation could involve a club jumping to USL. NISA has their playoffs coming and their best team Maryland Bobcats are ineligible to play so only 3 will. This is some odd stuff cause of the reasons. Many on the Reddits for NISA & USL agree it sounds fishy like NISA wanna throw US Soccer under the bus when it’s them. All cause of PLS BS. Now I say this could involve USL cause Maryland is said to be the top ones left in that godforsaken league to jump to USL. Michigan Stars maybe h their owner is garbage and their stadium is trash. Look up the situation to see for yourself and on the Reddits
They will for sure make the playoffs. They are anchored by a great goalkeeper. I will say they haven't figured everything out yet from a business perspective - just look at their online store. They have just a couple of crappy jerseys for sale. Maybe it's different at the games? Jose needs to put more money into growing the fan base.
Now if I was to rank the top goalkeeper kits - #1 is OCFC's purple kit - just awesome! #2 is RIFC's lavender kit - looks great! #3 would go to RIFC's green (For some reason, I love airlines as the corporate sponsor). This is where the USL tears apart the MLS. MLS kits are Addidas templates - and this year, man are they ugly. USL teams (minus NCFC who went with Addidas) are so much more varied. From a brands perspective: Hummel is ok, but man do they run small. Capelli is solid...but Charley kits are my favorite. Addidas sucks. Puma - ehh.
I agree with you - SAFC's jersey = boring. LV Light's jersey...who would ever wear that? That team hasn't figured out merch at all - just look at their online store. El Paso - creative, yes - but creative doesn't mean I would ever wear that. Memphis...zzzz. Tulsa may have the best overall kits in the league - the black, pink, and the third - I'd buy all of them.
Non American here, why there is no relegations and promotions in US football leuages? Which one is first division leuage USL or MLS? Someone please explain
@@USLInsight Ahh.. Got your point. But if there is no promotions and relegations, technically you can not say this is first division and this is second!! 😅
USL should built coast to coast divisions of 16 to 18 each. The best would be a midwest-northeast, a Atlantic south-south central and a western division. The USL will benefit from local derbies and fans being able to travel to away games. Boston playing Worcester or San Francisco playing Sacremento are more attractive than Detroit vs. Miami.
Pocetino doing great in chelsea and for some reaseon get sack! If he get time and chances to build a team step by step he can do a good job. Remember he get chelsea to top 6 and totenham to final ucl
The only problem with the USL is the ticket prices, DCFC vs New Mexico playing at Keyworth shouldn't cost $28 a ticket to get into. Its a great league, but they are still in the mindset of milking the fans that exist currently of every dollar rather than getting more people through the door for an affordable price. Even the merchandise of the league is too expensive, yes it is a pro league but it shouldn't cost $100 to buy a jersey. If adidas kits are too expensive to sell then find another company to make the shirts.. god knows there is hundreds of them. The league is great but they are often there own worst enemy when it comes to expansion and growth.
There will NEVER be pro/rel involving MLS. The owners spent way too much money to buy a franchise, they'll never agree to a model that could put their status in the top division at risk.
There will be pro/rel, but within the USL. Look for the USL to create a USL Premier League sanctioned as Div 1 in the next 5 years and then pro/rel between USL Premier (D1), USL Championship (D2) and USL League One (D3).
Well if the usl do end up having pro/rel then the mls will either have to merge with them or they will definitely fade away once the average American audience sees the drama that pro/rel delivers they will definitely chose that over a closed league system well thats just my opinion anyway
@@Deletedkakajd don't underestimate MLS and US soccer. Look at what they did to Indy Eleven. Continuing to grow the supporter base is far more important than pro/rel.
@@zachsternart your right but pro/rel brings so much more than just being more entertaining for your audiences it will make your homegrown players who don't get a chance to play in Europe better to because the playing level will increase because teams won't get half way through a season realise their not gunna end up going to the mls Cup and just switch off and wait to try again next season if there's consequences to under performing they will play at their peak till the last game and that will benefit player development the u.s needs better grassroots programs to and maybe one day they could make a noise on the international stage just my thinking anyway
This year I saw the USL clubs take it to the MLS clubs in the USOC. A majority of the matches were close with like a couple clean sheets both ways and like 1 blowout.
The USL has really grown on me. The Championship has turned into my favorite league when it comes to watching soccer in the US. I’ve seen myself moving away from supporting the MLS. I’ve been turned off by some of the most recent decision making that the MLS has made. One good thing that the USL has done is making sure that much of their games are easily accessible to the public, whereas MLS’ deal with Apple puts the vast majority of their games behind a paywall. I might be biased towards the USL because my community in Southern California will be getting a team in League One next season (I actually purchased my season tickets for the 2025 season today). And while I would prefer the team to be in the Championship, I do believe it’s best to begin in League One when it comes to creating a new professional soccer team. That being said, I’m very optimistic about League One next season, because if things go as planned, League One will be getting 6 expansion teams. That means the league can become more competitive and the potential of seeing new rivalries being created.
I used to be a huge MLS fan also my friends would make fun of me for watching that league. But I agree with you the USL is way easier to watch and MLS seems like it has become all about business. I'm excited what this league will look like in 5 years as well as league one.
I dont whatch the USL championship beacause i just personally like the mls better but i whatche USL league one beacause my local team the Richmond Kickers play in that league
Bringing a Palestinian flag isnt vulgar, its no different than bringing in an LGBTQ flag that we see all the time in supporter sections. CBS and the corporate media in general are owned by Zionist lunatics who are pushing thrir genocidal agenda by specifically targeting the Palestinian flag.
Well the dream sadly ends. SKC was too much for Indy. After a delay from weather the match started over 2 & 1/2 hours later and 2-0 for SKC both goals scored in the first half before the 35th minute. The shady mayor should really have a come to Jesus moment and see his city has a team already.
Simple for me - they need to rebrand to Fort Lauderdale next year when Inter Miami move into Miami. They could play at Drv Pnk/Chase stadium, and if there’s any delays they could play at the Central Broward Park, which was home to the FL Strikers (but mostly used for cricket now) OR (preferred) they could play at the new soccer stadium of the Fort Lauderdale USL Super League team. Anyways, they need a rebrand. In Fort Lauderdale. It’s not really that much of a relocation, but it’s a USL market. Moving to League 1 is also pretty smart, so they can also focus on winning again while improving the fan experience, branding, and community involvement. C’mon Miami FC 👊 (hopefully the relocation wouldn’t lose all of their existing fans, but you’ve got to do what you got to do. Anything is better than just folding the club, not that anyone would actually notice the missing gap where Miami was. But we want the USL to succeed!)
@@USLInsight hey, what team do you think will come up if they fold? Lexington and Brooklyn are already joining and Buffalo, Jacksonville and some place and georgia are already getting teams so if they fold maybe after 2025 will one of those take there place?
These kind of calls have gone against Hartford Athletic all season. We take the "L" and move on. Louisville gets a call like this and all of the sudden the integrity of the sport is in question? For a team that wins so much their fans are a bunch of crybabies. They're officially my most hated team in the league. 🤣
I think you're reaching for even suggesting that it's possible that the ref was making bad calls for financial gain. I agree that the game was poorly officiated, but if a ref really was to alter a game it would not be a game that featured the best team in the league versus one of the worst teams. Way too obvious.
You’ll never see politics completely removed from sports. People will always use politics as a reason for supporting for or against a team or a national team sport. A country getting the rights to host the Olympics will always be politically motivated. The same thing can be said about hosting the World Cup. The Classico between Real Madrid and FC Barcelona is political, over the people in Catalonia wanting to be a separate independent nation from Spain. Then you might come across a team like St. Pauli, whose fans are entirely political and mixes the politics of Hamburg with soccer.
Aren’t they supporting the community by bringing in that flag? The stadium is after all, located in Hamtramck, which has a very large Arab and Muslim community. For me it shows that they’re being inclusive. How interesting you never felt the need to take issue with the fact that they keep on introducing the rainbow flag during games. I’ve just recently joined your channel so if you have then forgive me. But people really can’t keep politics out of sports, whether that’s people bringing in a flag or NLF players taking a knee during the national anthem.
In fairness, you mention that Oakland can’t get many people into the current stadium. Their current stadium is in Hayward, a little bit down the east Bay from Oakland. There are those who love anything that has to do with Oakland. And the coliseum is iconic for the city. This might not be a good comparison, but that same stadium, while it was meant for baseball, was the same stadium that the Raiders played and that’s why I believe you can have soccer played there.
Lets see how it goes. But when it comes to stadiums I'm a fan of stadiums where the fans are next to the actual field like a San Antonio FC one so that's why I don't think it will look good.
